Friends please check the above pic, is there a cap or some sort of cover missing? I noticed this at 6am today while riding to work.

It is the timing check hole in left side of crank case...and it is blocked with a with Allen head screw which is what you see as a hole..nothing to worry...older ZMA came with normal flat head screw.

Thanks Sir, Will get blocked today. I was afraid of mud getting in

It is the blocking screw head that you have seen...it is a screw with hollow head and the hollow area is where the Allen head spanner will fit...so everything is as it should be...the hole in the screw should exist for fitting the Allen head spanner...
Continue riding without any fear or worries.

No problem. Its the allen key spanner slot. Dont tamper with it.

@prashk-: Let me see whether its worth it. If not its just Rs 100 odd lost. Will then go for Philips and we can buy the pair, one each :-)
Try Bosch bulb. 55/60 I am running on it and quite satisfactory. Costs 75 per piece.

I suppose that is for Avenger and it is Halonix or Osram (or rebranded to Bajaj). Try it out may be if it satisfactory then you save big money. Btw, we get Philips Xtreme Vision here in single pack. It was nice meeting you at ISG2G meet and not sure if you had seen my bike. It runs on Philips Xtreme Vision for about a year now and it still lights the road, good.

I saw your bike, but didn't check it out closely, specially the lights, since we were riding in different directions at night.

But holding it off until I get my bike serviced, as I've seen some complain that their headlight bulbs were blown off during service, want to avoid that possibility. The bulb costs around 1200/- for a pair, and in most of the shops in JC road, B'lore, it is only sold in pairs. I'm going to look for someplace where I can get just one.
I picked up a single pack Philips Xtreme Vision+100% 55/60W bulb for Rs580 in J.C road last month. Shop name is J K AUTOMOBILES..

Service guys are so amateur there, they drove it like their fancy tool when i gave that for service and did put a ugly scratch on my front fairing. Which made me feel real bad.. as its brand new :'(.

Please help me on this. Suggestions are welcome on protection against scratches , Already one teflon coating was done on it.
Where exactly do you stay in hyderabad. If distance is not a matter, you can try Pheonix, Uppal. Guys there do a pretty good job. You can also try Pheonix, Hitec city. Went there just once for getting the gear lever replaced, but the facilities there looked pretty good.

And regarding the mechanis taking the bike for a spin, its the same everywhere. They tell us not to rip but they themselves do it as it is not their bike.
