What spark plug do you suggest?
The stock NGK DPR 8 EA is good, and costs just Rs.70/-

Any ideas about this psr sir?
There are claims of superior ignition under high compression and high port velocity(turbo) with Iridium...apart from these the plug lasts longer..But I would rather buy 8 NGK standard plug and replace every 10K kms and have efficient ignition......
I had removed the Resistor in the Plug cap of 5 K Ohms and find the bike to have slightly better response ....the resistor removal is not easy, and I had some good luck to do it..
I had side gapped the plug for better ignition..

I wont get these at Hero Honda spares store right? Anyways, wont be problem getting it form other shops.

Also, I dont mind spending 550/- for the Iridium spark plugs, provided they give me better performance and no future trouble. What say?

The NGK DPR 8 EA is stock plug for CBZ also apart from ZMA, so will be available with HH spares store..
Regarding Iridium it is your decision...

So not sure if its better to have the Iridium plug or not. I need my bike to perform better and since I dont really have much knowledge about the spark plugs, my decision shall depends on the suggestion I get here

Is that the model of the spark plug? I sure can read it as NGK iridium Hero Honda Karizma, but it doesnt say the same here: NGK Partfinder for Two Wheelers

                +1 ^^

Am not sure about the tail lamp from the XTREME fitting on the ZMA, but will be a possibility though.
I don't think its possible because cbz's tail is wider than ZMA's tail.

This is what he is talking about DPR8EIX-9 I think NGKIHHKZ is given in sites.

I think both CBZ and ZMA share the same chasis

NGK DPR 8 EIX is the Iridium equivalent to stock DPR 8 EA...both have internal resistor.

                    • @psr sir:

I ve this problem with my front discs for quite sometime now. When I press the brake lever, the braking is ok but it feels like the brake pad is gripping the disc and then leaving it.. gripping and then leaving. Happens at a fast rate.. Braking is not continuous and smooth inspite of holding on to the lever at one fixed point. Are the pads gone?

                      • Then when I go over any small pot hole also the front suspension makes a thud when the wheel goes in. The back suspension seems to be fine. What should I do for that?

Thats quite wide!!! Have to see the bike in flesh
But the point here was when they have a LED rear upgrade for the XTREME then why not for the ZMA, which has nothing changed apart from a sticker job.

                              Good to hear that mate.
What does T-stem alignment mean? And what do they exactly do in engine overhauling and why is it done?

I think the Disc is bent...did you have a crash or did some one bump into your disc side ?In such cases the Disc gets bent and you will have to change it..I guess it is about 1,000/-.

                                Two possible Causes are ..
                                1. If you have less front fork oil there will be less damping and on a bump the fork will go in all the way and retract giving you the sound.
                                2. If you have a Crash guard not fitted properly, then the front Mud Guard will hit it when the fork goes all the way in...check the front mud guard...if you see a horizontal mark on it 3 inches away from fork tubes...then surely your crash guard is hitting the mud guard.
