Yes different size tires have different size tubes inside them...but upto an inch in difference can be tolerated, and you can continue to use it.

      Here I go brother.
The crash Guard you had mounted will give little protection...If it had been a bar or CBZ -X guard....then it would be ok....your guard will bend inwards and is not so good in design.

                • My nearly acquisition of ZMA-R seem to be far way...

Early March had visited the showroom very near my house and booked the ZMA-R by making some marginal payment. I was looking for a white color which was appealing to me. When I asked for any ZMA he said had not seen for quite sometime. I was made few visits to the showroom to see my luck if I could have a glimpse of the new bike. Ten days back when I had been there saw a white color ZMA, I liked it too. Asked the showroom guy on getting the same, he said some one had booked it. Then, he said that make the full payment so that they could try get the same bike if possible.

Today, I went to the showroom, made the payment and asked him about some early delivery. Wow! Their eye brows raised and shocked to my request and replied you will need to wait for another three months! So when I asked about the white which is out there for more than 10 days, they said someone had booked this however, he had not turned up to complete the deal, unless he opts out, cannot be given to you. Well, then I had to talk to showroom Manager to try and see my luck. He said, would find out the status from the person booked.

Getting my hands on the bike feels good but cant' own it? That's bad.
So far, have been patient to decide and even do initial booking, now after making the payment and seeing a white ZMA-R waiting at the showroom is something which is not making me happy.

Sorry for the OT talk, but could not resist myself from posting on this thread.

When I inquired I was also told price is 85 K on road and 3 months waiting period for ZMA-R.Finally bought a pre-owned ZMA-R and am happy with it. Some of these HH dealers take the full payment in advance with promise of an early delivery but never keep it up...

The crash guard has already been successfully tested. Not exactly a crash, but a fall. Tried to fix CBZ-x Crash guard, but it didn't fit. But for that bike, few after market crash guards available, need to check out those.
But, certainly, its better to have something than nothing.

i dint give to svc, those guys told me it will take them minimum a month to get parts, but still, will post the bill.. in a weeks time!

I am sure if there was a crashguard , the damages wouldnt have been this bad. I would have loved to claim the insurance man, but the bike is not in my name.. i couldnt change it to my name after buying it :O

May be .... Sometimes a crash guard will make the situation worse!
