These are the few issues that I found in the bike.
1. The gear shifting is is not smooth. I mean have to apply a lot of pressure while changing gears. While I got the bike inspected at a auth service centre, the mech said the hardness of the gear shift is due to worn out clutch plates.
2. The fuel tank has a lot of scratches, so if it is not so expensive I am thinking of getting it changed.
3. I think the digital meter is faulty, because after a ride the trip meter automatically becomes zero. Also I tried setting the clock but everytime it resets itself, what culd be the problem ?
4. Also the sticker has faded out. Where can I get genuine HH stikers for the ZMA?
I would be taking the bike for servicing the upcomng weekend. Am planning to change the oil, get the airfilter cleaned etc.
Rest everything including tyres, lights, pickup etc are absolutely fine. The guy I have bought the bike from is my freind. He has maintained the bike well.

Karizma's tank cost you nearly 7k, So get it painted,painting the tank alone will cost you only 1k.2. The fuel tank has a lot of scratches, so if it is not so expensive I am thinking of getting it changed.
This is not the fault of digital meter,its the problem with your battery,your battery is dead.Replace your battery.Exide 7Ah Stock Battery with 2Year warranty will cost you nearly 1250rs.3. How old is your bike and how much o the odo? Check the airfilter,if its clogged with dirt,replace the filter,stock filter is 205RS,check sparkplug,if bad replace it ,its only 75.I would be taking the bike for servicing the upcomng weekend. Even on a New ZMA ,changing stock oil to JASO MA2 20W40 had good results in engine smoothness and easy gear change.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View Post+100^^ Good point.May be your bad engine oil will be causing these issues with gear.

Completed 6k on the odo. Till date there are 3 oil changes, twice it was HH oil 10w30 & the last time it was Elf 10w30. After I switched to Elf the engine & gear shifts got much smoother. I still have 1 more bottle of Elf left with me before I shift to a higher grade(w40) oil.
I was planning to drain the current oil which has done aprox 1500kms & fill in the last bottle of Elf. After 1000 on the odo, I plan to shift to 15w40 Shell Rimula or Mobil 1 or 20w40 Elf Moto Pro.
Kindly advise.

I would also suggest you try Motul 3000 4T Plus 20w40. Tried and tested. Works fine. Switch to JASO MA2 20W40 oil ASAP...Shell Rimula is for diesel engines....and Mobil 1 is for Cars..do they have JASO MA2 certification on the container ? Some oils confirming to this standard are.....
Gulf Pride 4T Plus, Shell AX series, Motul 3000 4 T Plus 20W40,etc.,When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.
