I don't know the current settings as it was tuned in at the SVC and PSR sir also advised first to check the performance for the current settings that are done at the SVC and then if there is any issue then we can change that.

No the setting is done by SVC, after changing Air filter,Spark Plug ,oil tc.

Sent u a PM.. Nice to hear that you are getting good results. As psr sir said there might be some problem with timing chain or the tensioner. Will get it checked.

Sir the keech keech sound is gone. But the chain noise is still there in high rpms. Its like I can hear some chain rotating inside the head part.

Since it is a pre-owned ZMA bought recently at 35 + K Kms, you did not know of the previous owner's maintenance , I suspect either the Timing Chain to be old and loose or the tensioner is not good.

Will check that out soon sir.

The previous 20w40 oil had turned dark in just 1,000 +Kms which may be due to compression leak, and it is happening at 350 kms in new oil also, which is why I just wanted confirm by changing to new 10w30 for flushing out old sludge accumulated before, and at same 300 + Kms will observe what happens to this oil also.

Changed to the HH 10w30 oil yesterday evening sir. The acceleration is better as you said. Did not add the Boric acid though because no time to ride out 30 km last night and had to wash my bike this morning. Will do it tomorrow morning.

Mixing with the regular engine oils will leave small lumps in the oil,but are not dangerous to cause problems in ZMA...so don't feel bad about it..

            • My roomie came home last night and told he is hearing some noise from the chain of his 4 month old Unicorn. He had just got it from service and came yesterday. I removed the chain guard and found it to be very dry and dirty! So I cleaned it with diesel and applied the bearing grease on it. The effect was there immediately and 80% of the noise was gone. Now I wonder what these service people do to the bike. I think they just water wash it, change the oil and give it back! Sorry for the OT..

I used the 3M Premium Liquid Wax which I bought last week on my bike today and the results are fantastic! I use Eagle One Wet car wash to wash my bike and that gives good results and a nice shine but after the 3M treatment it was shining like a mirror!

Max just make sure the noise is from the engine...in ZMA the drive chain with sprocket makes a lot of noise, and when you are riding it makes you feel as though it is coming from engine..
Put the bike in main stand, start the bike and warm it up for a minute...then slowly raise the engine RPM and keep listening to the engine noise, on the GEAR SHIFTER SIDE. If you hear chain running noise now, the you can suspect the timing chain or adjuster.

Yes sir the chain noise seems to be coming from the engine only. But anyways will check it out today evening and confirm back.

If your bulb seats in the same position then bulb fitting is ok.

Me too guess the same, from my first time changing the bulb,i figured out that bulbs cannot be placed in wrong way, there are three cuttings one a little broader and the other two of same size where the bulb goes in. Correct me if i am wrong

Yes you are right..the bulb and reflector are polarized to fit to-gether, in a specific way.
