Nice to know about the upgrade. Try to adjust the beam for better light spread. Sometime try Philips 60/55w OE Mahindra and Mahindra Bolero/Scorpio stock bulb. Your face will also glow like your headlamp!

Now the spread is very correct according to me,so didn't touched the Focus screw.

happened years back, when my bike felled.

Change is awesome, low beam is very bright and nice spread ,same in the case of high beam, very long view.Nice and Cheap upgrade.
Same as mine -only thing is my bulb is 12 years old . Had taken it out of my M800 when I plonked in two 100W ones . As you said , the difference is awesome . Just wondering how much better the Philips Xtreme 100+ will be .

Tap the top portion with a small metal rod, preferably an allenkey or something till the bent thingi touches the pointing thingi and then push a hacksaw blade in between and a perfect and exact gap will be made. I saw this being done by mechs in maruthi SVC.

                      Heres my 25paise worth opinion.
If the space isnt adequate then a proper healthy spark wont be produced, thus improper utilisation of fuel happens and thus mileage and bike pickup drops. Though side gaping is whole different story.

Seems like your bike is running very lean and your plug is a bit damaged, dont repair it,Get it replaced,Karizma OEM Plug cost rs75 only.Get it replaced.

Yes,with 4 turns, you will feel more fun with throttle.

It will last according to the riding conditions,If you are a heavy rider and carries pillion all the time and riding in dusty area, then your chain and sprocket life will be very less.If you are riding very sanely, without pillion and clean surroundings, then it will last longer.

No ashwinprakas , it's not a 25ps worth opinion . It's at least a 50 ps worth opinion . 25ps is not in circulation now and the minimum denomination is 50 ps .
Putting it simply , what you said is true - though if you want the details , the subject is worth an essay ...
The gap is not the only parameter - the cleaner the electrodes the better fuel utilization will be .

If you dont want to shell out > 600/- for NGK Iridium then go for the NGK normal(forgot the model no )

It'll be real fun until you calculate the mileage - though I guess the fun part wins !!More over , you can alter your riding style to compensate ..

I am getting 31 on city and 41 on highways with AFR @ 4turns,Guess its very good figure for a karizma.

                              • Spark Plug

When I had gone for service this Sunday, I asked to change the Spark Plug, so they had put in Champion Plug as it was provided to them by the Company and it came in Hero Honda packaging.
So, what is difference in performance if we are using a Champion Plug/NGK Normal/NGK Iridium ?
