Good that is how it is supposed to be

should i still take the choke in the morning
also i noticed that after changing the AFR setting my rpm during choke dont go to 4k like before but stay ~3k
No need for choke...choke is required to start IF there is a starting problem...don't worry about the Choke RPM...it is a non issue..

the throttle response is better than before, although havent got a chance to test the topend speed. prior to this she touched 120 tops (with my 80kgs)
will test for FE ans report back
The top end will not be different..but how fast you get there will be different ....ZMA has speedo error of 5 Kmph excess...to get true speed multiply RPM with 15 for every 1 K rpm..ie., for 3,000 RPM in 5th gear the speed is 3,000 X 15 /1000 = 45 Kmph.
FE will be slightly reduced by 3 kms per liter...

one more thing, the gulf pride isnt easily available here, so can i go with castrol active 4T (20W40), is it comparable to gulf pride 4T??
Castrol has many fakes...so don't go for it..You can go for Shell AX series or Valvoline 4 T, or Motul mineral..Do not go for any synthetic oil...Look for JASO MA2 certification, and 20W40 grade.

Happy to see you have successfully cleared the cold start problem..

    • Guys, does anyone know a particular reason for using 18inch wheels in Hero Honda bikes?? What differencialte them from the 17inch wheels??
I cannot imagine any reasons why they do so.. Almost all the bikes in the world use 17inch wheels, don't they?
      Just curios guys...

17" wheels help to accelerate better at the cost of your top end and vice versa.

You can go for cbz / unicorn levers. I'm using a CBZ lever for my RX100, its equipped with Glad disk setup .

As there is no starting problem now, guess you don't have to use choke.

Stay away from castrol,Fakes are available in the market,Get Shell or Motul.
              thnx bro
i have been buying castrol oils(power1) in the past from the authorized dealer so there is little chance of it being fake, thats why i was considering active 4T

True, but thats not the reason for using 18". Acceleration/top end can be manipulated through sprockets and gear ratios. Why HH uses 18"? maybe because the bikes were originally designed for these wheels and they have been basically using the same engine/gearbox for decades. Change in wheels may result huge costs.

I think its time to change. One sees 1000cc with 17" and we have HH150cc with 18#

Gulf pride, shell AX , valvoline 4 T, and Motul are superior to Castrol in their ability to give you a smoother and refined engine with no gear shifting problem...use it and see.
