You got it wrong. The backlight is always on, irrespective of the ambient light. Thing is, under bright light, you cant make out it is on.Originally posted by abhash View Postno its not, during day/high ambient light conditions its off, to try this just go to a dimly lit area or in the evening and see the light intensity of the amber lights and compare it to nightMOTORCYCLING IS AS MUCH ART AS IT IS SCIENCE

Exactly. But since not everyone keeps a torch, a mobile phone will do. I put out my phone in direct sunlight and I cannot see anything. At night, It bright enough to light my way during power failure.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostTake a torch and turn on and look at its brightness in the evening and check the brightness of the same torch at night, what will be the difference? In short, Zma backlight is always on.

Yeah, mobile is more convenient as its common now a days.I had seen karizma's speedometer opened and there is NO sensor or something in the meter.Originally posted by kaynmantis View PostExactly. ....Even I rev above 4 K in city and more than 6 K RPM on the highway...

If you drive at constant RPM and speeds your engine bore will get glazed ..Keep changing gears and RPM, and after 500Kms take it up to 5 or 6 K rpm once in a while for 2 to 3 minutes. This will help your engine to set well...Originally posted by selvin rebz View Postme too drive same as you.. but getting low economy between 35-38 ,bike is still in runing peroid done only 300kms ,never went speed above 50kmphr. then where am i going wrong please help me
Your average is acceptable, and is standard for ZMA.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.
