I had not noticed any peculiar sound off the braking. Well, will watch out.

That's cool. When I checked last time, it returned 32kmpl. Whether it is good or bad, not facing any issues.

no its not, during day/high ambient light conditions its off, to try this just go to a dimly lit area or in the evening and see the light intensity of the amber lights and compare it to night

Take a torch and turn on and look at its brightness in the evening and check the brightness of the same torch at night, what will be the difference? How can we compare that?
From where did you came to know this? I hadnt heard of this before? Who told you this?

You got it wrong. The backlight is always on, irrespective of the ambient light. Thing is, under bright light, you cant make out it is on.

Exactly. But since not everyone keeps a torch, a mobile phone will do. I put out my phone in direct sunlight and I cannot see anything. At night, It bright enough to light my way during power failure.

In short, Zma backlight is always on.

Not revving more than 3.2 K is a crime ....Even I rev above 4 K in city and more than 6 K RPM on the highway...

If you drive at constant RPM and speeds your engine bore will get glazed ..Keep changing gears and RPM, and after 500Kms take it up to 5 or 6 K rpm once in a while for 2 to 3 minutes. This will help your engine to set well...
Your average is acceptable, and is standard for ZMA.
