    • posting for the second time on the same!!!

I think i found the reason for the cold start problem and the engine shutting off when the rpm was increased more than 1k,
Its water in the fuel tank i usually wash my bike once every week .Today after washing it i just removed the fuel tank lid, the space around it was filled with water and i had to push it out through the small hole
has anyone faced a similar issue, is there anyway to get it fixed????

So the hole is blocked,Remove the block by blowing air to the tube.Check previous pages, psr had explained well what to do when water enters fuel tank.

High Security Number Plates are also illegal, they are not accepted by our govt. Here plates doesn't mater, fonts must be readable by the cops.

After washing my bike ,water is seen around the fuel lid. So i just breathe out and make the water to pass through that hole. I thnk what you found out as a reason for your cold start is correct. I also faced this issue.

                      • Did a long ride of 150~160kms today....
Bike felt smooth after the 4turn setup recomended by psr sir, but had a cold start problem(been idle for 48hrs) just minor hickups way way better than before...

                        And i have a query,
Is it okey to rip the engine momentarily... Like im going at 4k(i always maintain 4k from day 1) then i suddenly rip the bike like for 5~10mins, then i bring her back to normal... Is this okey and btw when i say rip im not talking abt 2-3k rips if you know what i mean ...

And planned to do a mileage test... Reserve to reserve as recommended by aneesh bro.... my bike was on the last bar when we completed 50kms... AND its still there blinking even after completing the rest 107~ something kms... Why so?? and how much remaining petrol does a single blinking bar mean????

I dont think ripping like that is okay. Have some patience set her engine properly first. Or else you are going to end up with poor power delivery and low economy and very low engine life and later you are going to regret that. I just stated my view, consult more experienced people and confirm yourself.

Good to see many getting better result with an easy DIY..Look at the Spark Plug ..if it is light tan it is in correct setting...if it is white it is lean ...and if it is dark tan you are running rich......
For making it lean AFR ,turn AFR screw 1/2 turn clockwise and re check plug after 50 Kms ride.
For making AFR rich turn the AFR screw ANTI clockwise by 1/2 turn and again observe the plug color after riding for 50 Kms.

                              And i have a query,

You have to warm up the engine by running it sanely(within 50 KMPH) for at least ONE Km..and afterwards start to accelerate gradually an engine done 500Kms on odo can be driven in short bursts of 80 Kmph.....Sudden acceleration puts strain on engine, gears, and mainly Chain and Sprockets..for overtaking you can do it, but not as a regular occurrence, for the sake of engine.
