It was dark,so removed my tank and checked it ,its not closed. Its working.now i can feel the difference and felt like some hiccups had gone and throttle response increased.Once again,Thanks sir.nice find. And mine's tube seems like bit damaged, will replace it soon.
The tube acts as a stabilizer of pulses inside the Carb bowl and moderates the petrol flow ...so for any ZMA with initial hesitation and pickup you now know one more common cause...

How is your ZMA now..have you connected the petrol tank, water drain hose on to the tank ? and put the stopper at the air filter breather tube end ? and checked the carb., breather tube connection as mentioned with pic a few posts back....

She's awesome and thanks for asking!

The petrol tank water drain hose has not yet been connected cos there are only two tubes hanging down. One is the battery breather tube and the other one which we thought to be the water drain hose seems to be the air filter breather tube. I have just taped it for now. Am searching for some rubber stopper to plug it up. The carb slider I am following your 2ml 2T oil per litre of petrol technique and its been some 4-5 litres till now. Seems to be a bit better! Thanks a lot for the tip and I think I am getting very good mileage figures after adding the 2T oil to the fuel. Anyways have added 6 litres of fuel after hitting reserve and added another 12ml of 2T oil. Lets see what the actual numbers show. Will get to know in a couple of days. Will adding 2T oil to the fuel cause any problems? And the carb breather tube connection I am going to check now. Thanks for the reminder.

No probs in adding 2ml 2Tper liter of petrol....I think your carb breather is disconnected from what you were complaining before of hesitation and Hiccup at lower RPM.
You can add the rubber tube for the water drain, from the petrol tank as and when you want.

it look more white than it really is due to flash and light background
actually it has a hint of light brown to it
