errr... Don't you think slackness is due to natural wear. Chain will eventually get longer and slack increases as it wears regardless of sprockets. So one has to adjust them now and then.

The wear is determined by the weight of load, the acceleration, and maintenance. With higher ratio the torque at the wheel will be more, and on standing start this puts greater force to turn the wheel..the chain which is the medium of transmission of this force has to bear the brunt of it.Closer ratios puts less strain. ie., compared to 13:42 sprocket ratio 14:42 puts less strain...thus leading to a lesser elongation.

My Zma has done 9000km i did my service around 8200km

                        Filled it with sprinta 5000

now after 800kms of running my gear box have become very hard

I for sure know it is not cause of the oil as i have used sprinta 5000 earlier and had no issues

I am suspecting some clutch settings would do the trick

problem is even while downshifting gears are making a loud tak tak noise

                        please advise
Exactly the same problem! I too used the oil for more than 8k kms, with absolutely no problem. I changed the oil, but now face this problem after just 200-300kms! Any idea why??

According to Hero Honda ,Spark plug should be changed every 12000kms,No problem,Go for the OEM Plug.

Thank God you got out of it in one piece...Use Fewi Kwick or some Cynoacrylate based adhesive to fix the cracks in the fender.

You can't to the best of my knowledge..The wheel base of both bikes are different and the ZMA has a much longer wheel base...so the mounting points will all be different.
