Same thoughts as Ravi. Why would you want to change the fairing now? You don't have change your fairing at this point. You can do it after your return. If there is vibration (broken part), try to fix it with stuff like fibreglass resin. All men dream, but not equally. the fairing and fork work will be done after the mega ride.
Regarding the RTR pads- they are not as punchy as the originals but they are just 15 kms old so will have to run it in before I can update the complete status. will update this thread for sure .
P.S - inquired in Hero Honda about the disk pads - it seems they have not received a single pad for the last 7 months

they said that to get the yellow fairing I might have to order it and wait for 6 months or more

:
they did not have the choke cable as well
anyway hope things go as planned without any hiccups.
Hero Hinda- please get your spares to your showrooms because -
CUSTOMERS NEED THEM

hh fibre parts are useless..My zma-r rear left tail panel has started developing cracks from rear end above the tail light. And i have`nt met with an accident(touch wood)..when i examined it i noticed that the rear clip and screw underneath the tail panel was missing. It might have cracked due to the vibration.Originally posted by kirosh_03 View PostSame thoughts as Ravi. Guys, My zma has been acting weird latly.
As soon as i turn on the ignition everything comes up normally. But after few second it keeps on restarting for abt 3-4 times. If the start the bike, it shuts down for a split second for atleast 3-4 times......then it behaves normally.
What could be the reason? My guess is that there could be something wrong with the igniton set!
@ravi uncle.......pls come to my rescue

Google for 'fibreglass repair kit' and you should get to know about it.Originally posted by vineetg84 View PostWhat is fibreglass resin? and what does it do
IMO, this is only solution to fix cracked/broken fiber parts. Even the famous Fevikwik turns useless to fix cracked fiber parts. It has been over 4 months and 4000 kms since my mechanic fixed the cracked rear panels and a few parts in the front fairing assembly. And the fixed parts are still intact. I will post a few of pics sometime later (don't have a cam).

yes ofcourse its a new bike.. & til initial 1k - 1.1k kms.. i ran it @ 40's & 50's after that i ran it upto 110.. stil @ rpm of 6k on 3rd gear.. but after 3.5k kms.. i "sometime" pushed my 3rd gear to 70kmphOriginally posted by Ray13 View PostSaurav, is yours a new bike or did you get it used? If its new and you've done 4500 in the first month and you ride it in 3rd up to 70 - 75, then I think you've really rogered your engine. Whatever bike you buy, if its new, you need to do a proper running in. Which means keeping it to 40 km/h (ideally) or max 50 for the first 1000 and then possibly upping it by 10 per 1000 after up to 5,000 or so.
After that, you can pretty much rip it all you want and it'll still return a decent average and you can count on it serving you for a long time. If however you haven't run it in decently, ridden it really hard at the top of the rev limit from the time you got it, then it isn't surprising that you get a low mileage and you'll never be able to undo the damage caused.
If its a used bike which was already run-in then all the above was pointless, is to be ignored and I have no idea whats the problem with your bike.
Cheers
Rahul

Stock battery will be somewhere around 1200-1300 (I am not exactly sure). Amaron 9-amp battery will be around 1500-1600.Originally posted by d@rk nemesis View Postwaiting for replyHH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler
