Today while riding, the indicators where fine & showing up 3 bars, suddenly the fuel indicators vanished. On a signal, I turned off & on & the bars showed up fine for sometime & again vanished. Obviously I think it has to do with the Fuel Sensor inside the tank. But why this weird behavior ?
Can't this be also due to a Kaupt battery?

No, as the entire console & other indicators, (i.e. Odo, time, tripmeter) are working fine. just this specific fuel indicator has disappeared.

      • Please check for a loose connection...the wire connecting to the main harness could be the problem...Carefully inspect below the tank...

However i guess that 1800 is only for the master cylinder and not for the entire set-up.
I thought that some one the forum had this done already and was curious to know...
Yeah, its only for the caliper and master cylinder.

+1 Check wires and also inspect the wire connecting the petrol tank under the tank.

            • Guys my battery is dead, not even rechanging could save her
              RIP dear

What modifications does the amaron 9Ah requires to fit in a ZMA coz a few pages back i saw in the pics by aneesh that the retention bracket is bent and the nut is also different one?

also whats the price and is it expensive than the normal batteries?

              What are my other options

                Yes you have to:
                1. bend the outer clamp a little

2.use a Flat head screw(Screw used in side body panel)to fit it properly.

thats what i exactly had in my mind. Will get it done during the next service. I aslo have another problem. Will take few pics of it and post it later on. Bike hiccks up after i change the gear the wack the throttle open while ripping or when i change the gears post 5k rpm. Now both these problem has been there for the past 20k+ kms. its just that only now i started to bother abt it

Seen this somewhere,I think this is a direct fit, Exide 7Ah battery with 15months warranty. If you need one without mods, then get 7Ah's battery, most of the 7Ah battery will be of same size.

                        @ onlinesatish

So its normal and nothing to worry?Didn't the oil level decrease?

i seriously doubt that oil in air filter is normal, according to my sources, it is due to a clogged filter.

                            • It could be the extra oil....
On service the filter is sprayed with oil which helps to attract and hold dust to the filter...it could be the extra oil dripping from the filter.Clean it completely; the air filter box and check after a few more days...if problem persists contact local mechanic immediately.....
