No, as the entire console & other indicators, (i.e. Odo, time, tripmeter) are working fine. just this specific fuel indicator has disappeared.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostCan't this be also due to a Kaupt battery?

Yeah, its only for the caliper and master cylinder.Originally posted by Race_Developed View PostThanks Aneesh...
However i guess that 1800 is only for the master cylinder and not for the entire set-up.
I thought that some one the forum had this done already and was curious to know...
+1 Check wires and also inspect the wire connecting the petrol tank under the tank.Originally posted by Race_Developed View PostPlease check for a loose connection...the wire connecting to the main harness could be the problem...Carefully inspect below the tank...

Yes you have to:
1. bend the outer clamp a little
2.use a Flat head screw(Screw used in side body panel)to fit it properly.

Today checked my bike fully and found some new issues...

There is oil inside the Airfilter box
,How oil came into the airfilter box?on inspection i found that its coming through the marked pipe. What is the use of that pipe?

'
Also found that battery is weak...It refused to start after 3 cranks.

thats what i exactly had in my mind. Will get it done during the next service. I aslo have another problem. Will take few pics of it and post it later on. Bike hiccks up after i change the gear the wack the throttle open while ripping or when i change the gears post 5k rpm. Now both these problem has been there for the past 20k+ kms. its just that only now i started to bother abt it
AFAIK, its normal in Zma's. thats what i heard for the SVC supervisor. Even my bike had the same issue!Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostToday checked my bike fully and found some new issues...

Seen this somewhere,I think this is a direct fit, Exide 7Ah battery with 15months warranty.Originally posted by abhash View Post@Aneesh
thnx for the info & pics
are there any other good brand of batteries which do not require any modification?
If you need one without mods, then get 7Ah's battery, most of the 7Ah battery will be of same size.

@ onlinesatish
So its normal and nothing to worry?Didn't the oil level decrease?Last edited by Aneesh@4GHz; 05-12-2011, 10:19 PM.Karizma Parts Manual - https://picasaweb.google.com/1010125...rizmaCatalogue

i seriously doubt that oil in air filter is normal, according to my sources, it is due to a clogged filter.Last edited by BOND_001; 05-12-2011, 10:50 PM.

It could be the extra oil....
On service the filter is sprayed with oil which helps to attract and hold dust to the filter...it could be the extra oil dripping from the filter.Clean it completely; the air filter box and check after a few more days...if problem persists contact local mechanic immediately.....sigpic
