Holy Moly Rs 2300 just for the side fairing . Last time i got the right fairing changed (was about 6-8 months back) it was between 1100-1300. and the headlight assembly was around 1100 an year back.

wow... 44-46 is great for a 223cc machine.
I able to get that mileage, because you & all xbhpians are there to guide me

Sir there is a request, can you post the picture of your spark plug (g-power), in my spark plug, neither any spare number nor brand "NGK" written, so i am afraid about its genuinity.

NGK G-POWER DPR8EGP comes with NGK and DPR 8EGP stamped on the Silica body close to the Hexagonal metal body...just like in any other NGK plug. No NGK plug comes without them..If there is no NGK stamp then it is a fake. We get them from authorised dealers at Rs.140/-.

          • Sorry if its mentioned anywhere before. Where can I get these spark plugs from?

I'll be using my ZMA-R after more than a year. What all needs to be done before taking it out again?

Its available in most automobile shops which sell spares. If you are in Bangalore, the best possiblity of getting it is in Amit agencies,Journalist Colony, J.C.Road. he is the distributor for NGK in bangalore. Ph.080-26700517/9844156492.

You just have to restrict yourself from "sudden" accelerations and your bike will give these figures to you, guaranteed!

He said, since 2011 Karizma R models the price was increased, but I was myself shocked to see the price! More examples please, confirm the price from your locality, people

Whether u get replaced for a genuine plug from your seller or not but u should complain to the company either via phone or email or to the Authorized Dealer giving them a address from where u've bought to them know about selling of a fake product. You may get great honor or rewarded something.

The stock Ignition cable is the best as it has no resistance.

                      • After running for 4k.

Original position. Not enough free space to fix the FFF.

                        Slide dead stuck!

                        Screw driver under slide.

                        Slide lifted!

                        Remove this.

You'd have to bend this thingi inwards.

                        Like this!

And put this thing back like this.

More than enough space for the FFF.

                        Snug fit!

                        Duckbill breathers in place.

Never use a screw driver or hard metal /material under the slide to lift it..the slide, throttle needle will be damaged...
Your free flow air intake will give you more problem than performance.

a post after a long delay...
Yesterday @ 9PM I was riding my ZMA-R , there was enough traffic to make me stop . A flicked to neutral and suddenly the bike died - engine died , headlight and tail light died . I tried the indicator - to move to ..........................
                            .........................

Re-soldered the wires and reversed the process to put it on the bike .

Another thing that came to my mind is the need for a light for times when we are stranded on roads especially dark places . I am thinking about it and might be on to something in a few days .
Was raiding my 'aakri' box to find something I could use - in my mind was the front portion of my damaged SANYO rechargeable torch light . But when I got it I found that the 'bulb's ' length was too much . Got another bigger torch reflector . The LED park-light had 28 LED s on it . The size of the reflector is OK . Luckily I found a plastic bottle with the mouth diameter and thread matching . Also got myself a 180 cm long wire and audio male-female pin/socket . Am planning to put the male pin on the bike connected to the battery and the female socket on the wire .
Here are the parts I've obtained and the schematic.
                            Any suggestions are welcome .

Also do think about including a resistor from battery side. Cause then in the future you'd be able to use the plug for more than just supply your torch i.e recharge phone etc.

That too is on my mind ,but not the way you visualize - for that I'll have to strip down a working car charger and replace the plugging - in end with a socket .
