the M45 has a higher side profile than 100/90 so the bike doesn't lean as well in corners as the tyre increases the height at the rear.

I am really tired of everyone praising M45 4x18 so much. it is a good tyre but not suitable for zma. have you ridden a zma with stock size tyre after changing to M45? i have ridden two bikes one with good 100/90x18 tyre (not the MRF one) and one with M45 4.00x18 one after another and the stock bike corners and handles better than the one with M45. if you still don't believe me, i have M45 on my bike now (bought it after saw multiple posts praising it) and i will give it for free to anyone who wants it once i get a good stock size tyre.

Did you up sized front tyre? if not the problem persists bcoz you up sized the rear tyre. Try to up size the front tyre as well to compensate the height variation.Originally posted by motorheadZMA View PostI am really tired of everyone praising M45 4x18 so much. it is a good tyre but not suitable for zma. have you ridden a zma with stock size tyre after changing to M45? i have ridden two bikes one with good 100/90x18 tyre (not the MRF one) and one with M45 4.00x18 one after another and the stock bike corners and handles better than the one with M45. if you still don't believe me, i have M45 on my bike now (bought it after saw multiple posts praising it) and i will give it for free to anyone who wants it once i get a good stock size tyre.

I feel there are other parameters which differ between two bikes of same make that canOriginally posted by motorheadZMA View PostI am really tired of everyone praising M45 4x18 so much. it is a good tyre but not suitable for zma. have you ridden a zma with stock size tyre after changing to M45? i have ridden two bikes one with good 100/90x18 tyre (not the MRF one) and one with M45 4.00x18 one after another and the stock bike corners and handles better than the one with M45. if you still don't believe me, i have M45 on my bike now (bought it after saw multiple posts praising it) and i will give it for free to anyone who wants it once i get a good stock size tyre.

effect handling . That is y we adjust handle bars ,rear shocks, etc to get max control.
So riding two bikes back to back just like that one cannot take a conclusive decision.
Along with 4.00 M45 at rear i have 90/90 mrf zapper fs in the front. i also have a slightly
modified handle bar as i have short hands so that i am able to sit further back and balance my weight properly.
One more thing just my thought- 100/90 tyres are good when they're relatively new, but at
around half life period the tyre becomes unsafe for spirited riding , atleast in a bike as
big as karizma.

I would be more than happy to get my hands on the M45.Originally posted by motorheadZMA View PostI am really tired of everyone praising M45 4x18 so much. it is a good tyre but not suitable for zma. have you ridden a zma with stock size tyre after changing to M45? i have ridden two bikes one with good 100/90x18 tyre (not the MRF one) and one with M45 4.00x18 one after another and the stock bike corners and handles better than the one with M45. if you still don't believe me, i have M45 on my bike now (bought it after saw multiple posts praising it) and i will give it for free to anyone who wants it once i get a good stock size tyre.

The tire is bigger than stock there is no doubt about it.But the amount of confidence i get on the M45 is nowhere comparable to the stock or any other tiresigpic

It's too early to say 'hard to find', unless we have exhausted all the options.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostYes ,you are right,But its hard to find.
(Don't get me wrong, have seen what is search while doing in 2 stroke restoration.)
Will search for this in my city first and for sure will be on my list.

Guys need your help here. As for my previous post about the power dip, I got the bike serviced and the felt much better and the issues seemed to have been resolved. But after a 100km ride yesterday things dint look good. Looks like the power dip has now shifted to around 100kmph or could be at around 7000rpm in fifth gear. Dont know whats happening. Its really frustrating to ride wid such problem.Originally posted by harishsangwan View PostGuys..my bike seems to have a little dip in the power for a brief moment when it reaches 70-75kmph. As if the eng stalls and recovers within no time and this was happening quite consistently around the same speed mark. Did feel the same even at 50kmps sometimes.
Any clue as to what could be wrong?
I will be giving my bike for servicing in a couple of days, so it would help to know whats wrong with the bike in advance.
Do advice on what could be the reason.
