Nikhi Motors is a wrong place to go to . Dont know about any HH service centres cos i never visit any.I work on all my bikes myself.

What iv seen on the zma is that , pullin too much in lower gears makes ur FE go bad. Its not the speed that makes u lose FE.DId a 400 km ride to BR hills with a pillion an got 38kmpl. Its the way u get to that speed that matters
I dont rev over 4k for shifting , zma has enough torque low down itself.
If i feel like revving , i use my R15 or other bikes that are rev happy :-P.

Not really normal , Get your valve clearance checked ,
Mostly will be tight.
Its one cause of vibes , and low mileage and No Top End.

.1 and .1 on Cold engine.

I too had been to Br Hills last month and stayed in Gorukana resort. Bike returned 34kmpl solo, mostly cruising at 85 to 90km. City i get 29kmpl with or without pillion. Which area do you stay?

I stay in RT Ngr , Get the same FE even in the City ,
Get the things checked.

1. Air filter..
2. Valve Clearance
3. Chain Slack
4. Air pressure.

It is the common Pollution Tester..it will be available at any properly equipped SVC...it tests the amount of Carbon Monoxide in the exhaust fumes.

Karizma Brake Shoe Price

Guys,any one knows the latest price of karizma's rear brake shoes?

Have 07 Zma-R done 46k kms. Been having a problem with petrol cap since quiet a long time. Bike stalls if ripped! have to open up the take cap and close it again. And it happens even when ridden sanely but not as frequent like when i rip, say it happens like once or twice in 500kms.

have cleared the drain pipe of all dusts, checked the one way valve in the tank cap, its perfect. Still not able to figure out what could be the reason. Any pointers guys?

Try cleaning the tank and see the result.

Go and buy ASK asbestos shoes. Its 90-100rs and the brake bite is way superior than stock.
Cons - You will need to change shoes little earlier than stock but worth it.

I think i can do it my self too but i can't seem to locate that af screw.

Well, I have heard Millenium Motors does a decent job but I have never given my bike there. I always go to Sai Motors in Banashankari and always had a decent experience (Not gr8 bcz there is nothing much for them to do on ZMR

)

But the last free service was initially not gr8 bcz the regular service supervisor was on leave. After speaking to Service manager there it went butter smooth.

Give a try, talk to Mr.Vandan, Service Manger or the Mr.Kiran, Floor Incharge in Sai Motors. Be diplomatic in explaining your problems

How much does the OEM one costs? I think they are asbestos free too

You guys are lucky atleast see colors and pick. Me, I have just seen a white at the time of booking, that's all. Now only dreaming after paying 85k.
