Don;t worry, thoroughly check the cylinder for damage.
Worst come worst, you have cylinder kits sold across the showroom, be glad. And it is not costing a bomb.

Two strokes cylinder kits have become almost extinct. Even if you pay twice/thrice the original price, is not available at easy.

If you want more power just remove the bottom Gasket of bore , apply liquid Gasket and you will get about a hp more, with higher compression..and higher FE.

      • Seems like there is damage in the cylinder. That's why the older svc used liquid gasket to hide it from me. Will go there tomorrow again,as it was so busy ,so no time to open up a a karizma's engine and will make sure whether its a damage or just a deep scratch.

        • Guys I own a 2005 ZMA. There is this black tube hanging down near the main stand. It has some kind of lid on it. When I was cleaning my bike this morning I just removed it and some black liquid kept flowing out of it. I did not know what it was so I closed the lid immediately! The liquid was like a black gooey oily watery substance with some white goo in between. Any idea on what the tube is and is the goo required for the bike or should I remove it??

I guess you are referring to the petrol tank mouth drain pipe
There will be TWO pipes near the stand...the thin one is for Battery Electrolyte drain, and the Thicker one for Petrol Tank Water drain
When you open the Petrol tank cap you will see a large hole to the left of tank mouth..This is to drain water or other liquid which accidentally comes in to the rim mouth of the Petrol tank .I would suggest you to keep this drain route clean to ensure that during rain or water wash water does not go in to Petrol Tank...
Open the Tank cap and plug the tank mouth with thick clean cloth. Take some water in a beaker or small Vessel and SLOWLY pour this water into the hole you see..you should get water out of the pipe underneath the bike...Repeat process till you get clean water flowing out.
If you are doubtful about pouring from a vessel, then go to a Pharmacy and buy the largest Syringe without needle. Suck water to full into the syringe .Put the syringe tip into the mouth of the hole and empty the water into it by pushing on the syringe...
ALWAYS REMEMBER TO KEEP THE MOUTH ON THE PETROL TANK PLUGGED TIGHT WITH CLEAN CLOTH TO PREVENT WATER FROM GETTING IN.

Sorry to know of the latest development.....from the pic I am unable to judge if it is a crack or scratch....most likely a deep scratch, because even a small crack will have oil gushing out in quantity, since the crankcase will have oil circulating under pressure...

Harish how is the bike ?...I am using Gulf pride 4T plus 20 W 40 with good results. You can use any JASO MA2 20w40 oil...beware of Castrol fakes...better to avoid and stick with Motul, Gulf,Shell makes..

                      • Me mechanic changes it every 2000kms and thats when the servicing is done too. Dont remember what oil he uses. Now I feel I am wasting money on the service cost, should start doing it myself from now on.

The thing is that I dint really maintain my bike well initially so I suppose its doing alright as of now. I wanna get more involved with the service and DIY stuff rather than going to the mechanic every time.

EDIT: The oil that you mentioned, is it synthetic or what?

Yeah that is the spirit...to go DIY...but get your doubts cleared and buy the spares before attempting the DIY.
The oil is Mineral...I do not wish to go Synth..for it's price I can change the oil twice and my oil will be in good condition.

I was thinking of servicing the front disc brake after looking at this: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/do-yours...e-service.html
Wonder its safe to start DIY with such a process.
