Are you sure the valve is not the culprit? My guess is if the tube wasn't fixed right , then the air would go out far more quicker.

Pilot Lamps

Hello everyone, I am new to the zma Family, was my dream bike for many years, Just Got my Ebony Grey baby a month back, Looking forward for some changes...

Pilot lamps are not too brighter , Can any one let me know the current price of the pilot lamps(White ones) Either philips or osram and were do I get it ?

And also wanted to know the price of osram nightbreaker and the philips vision plus 55/60w for my Headlights

It was and did get it changed as well. Its not leaking.

hey xbhp'ians,

I want to replace my stock silencer to something better and a branded one.
I am getting the current one replaced under warranty and the inside muffler plate has come off and its makes a lot of noise.
so i will receive it in 4-5 days, but i plan to sell that one as a new piece and install a custom silencer for my bike.
Can any one suggest which ones to go for and what all factors are affected in changing the silencer ??
PS : what is a free flow exhaust ?

During my 4th free service, I got my oil changed to 10w30 HH oil just to keep the warranty going.

After some 500 kms on the odo the engine got rough & got some vibes at high speed. So today morning changed the oil to Shell AX 3 20w40 mineral oil. Poured in exactly 900ml using a measuring cylinder because the bottle comes in 1L packing.

After poruing the new oil, started the engine & kept it idle for 2-3 mins & rode to office (25kms) which includes city & highway riding. Some improvements that I noticed was smooth gear shifts(just tap the gear shifter & blip the gear is shifted), vibrations at high speed have gone down, the engine sound has changed compeltely, the engine temp has reduced.

Other thing I noticed was the rpm vs speedo reading going down, meaning I am able to ride at higher speeds on less rpm's compared to my earlier rides.

Now I cant keep the bike below 100kmph

and which is the best oil to change to at 15,000 Kms Karizma ZMR ?

How old is your bike?Is the bike in warranty period?

A free flow exhaust an exhaust that decreases pressure in the exhaust system and providing a smoother passage for the exhaust.Thus increasing power of the vehicle. Joel have custom made FFE for Karizma,Don't know whether it suits ZMR.

Not sure how you got more speed.

I got it for Rs.210/- a litre.

Full synthetic oils are expensive atleast Rs.800 a litre. In these 800 I can change my oil 4 times

.Though synthetics have a longer life but your engine will be more happy with the new oil it gets after every 2000kms. IMHO try sticking to mineral oils.

If I am correct ZMR uses 10w30 mineral oil, should you wish to change to Full synthetic oil, you can go for 10w40 Shell Ultra Rs.800/- a litre.

Your ZMR is under warranty if I read correctly, do not tamper with anything else your warranty will void. No comments on the FFE.

This is why I had been requesting members to switch to 20w40 mineral...
and those who have switched cannot keep the RPM and speeds down..including old me

It is a simple but effective improvement.
