That pic was clicked in my mobile...i think that made u to feel that they are local ones more over i failed to attach a copy of Bill from Hero Honda....
and it came in Hero honda s packing ...with logo and all...

    My Bad

    Peace.....
    Not anyones mistake bro,
I'dve thought it to be fake even if you've taken it with a DSC.

Cause I didnt consider the chance of generalizing ZMA parts to 2011 only. Because before 2011 the parts came plain with stickers as seperate set worth Rs.1190/-. If im not mistaken.

Was just trying to prove my point sir, and the puppy dog grafitti was just an example. Take the dual tone pulsars for example. If you see me riding one you'd by default assume that I'd got it custom painted right??? UNLESS you've before hand got the news that the company's making them like that.

But still am confused why you stuck with my puppy dog example, dont you think its kinda odd??
        And Hell Yeah!!! Im Unique!!!!
Reminds me of a dialogue in "Top Gun " - 'I like that' .
Come on guys ( I said guys , not kids !!) You are grown up ones who ride a 223 cc 17 bhp (not considering Joeled or other modified ones ) bike which happens to be the bench mark for sport tourers . ! ? &

More mileage, less engine life only happens when the bike has been manually tampered with or is old enough to sustain reasonable damage.

And another thing to keep under consideration is that Overdrive was talking about 2003 model, which generally means more aggressive acceleration with lesser mileage right? But since the above mentioned bike's giving a good mileage of 50+kmpl, then I guess the fact that it ultimately results on the rider is proven here.
And if an aggressively tuned bike gives 50+ mileage then how much should a passively tuned ZMA R give ?

        Additional.
My worst mileage ever is 23kmpl.
My worst mileage ( in the 1100 km I've ridden ) is 25 kmpl .

In OE tuning it'd not mean so . If you strangle the bike for FE , then something might happen (jus' my thought ) .
Regarding this clutch engagement issue I found that it is much easier to upshift (with half pressed clutch) while accelerating than while riding at constant speed. This is quite expected as while accelerating you keep on increasing your RPM and so there is RPM matching on upshifting. I find it very annoying to fully press clutch and then upshift when I am trying to clock as good as possible 0-60, so I use half clutch technique.
Half clutch is not a good idea ...I learned it half way from the top of a hill when my clutch quit after maybe 2 or 3 years of abuse ( it was on my 1st bike - an RX 100)

LOL Bro. I think Vaishak bro's cheating...

I believe he calculated the mileage also incuding the distance he pushed the bike to the petrol bunk.

You wont say that after you've seen his bro riding. I got a major stroke when I saw him maneuvering his bike inside their compound, very fast but still accurate.

Ha ha ha ..reminds me of a fuel efficiency test where the magazine claimed that since the bike moves 'cause of the energy it gets from the petrol in the tank , then the movement after the engine stops till the bike stops (coasting) should also be taken for calculating FE .
If that was the case then engine switched off as soon as we get optimum speed and then started again when the bike stops would add may be 30 - 40 percent to our mileage figure !!
BTW Vaishak , did you really push the bike to the bunk and add it to the FE figure ?? Jus' PM me ...lol

Hehe... Bro that adds up, cause Vaishak bro said he rides at 80kmph, and he also mentioned going uphill right, so if the bike ran out of fuel comming downhill then it might've travelled 70% of the journey without fuel, and Vaishak bro didnt notice it, since he was all hyped up about his bikes mileage!!!

And just noticed you'r from KL. Nice to meet you.

I ride at 80~100kmph regularly and touch 125kmph once in a while(if theres any competiton ), daily run 80kms(to and fro college ride). With 1.5L petrol(100rs). So calculate my mileage.

And who'd use badman on a ZMA. I said badmans for bikes like pulsars etc(or atleast I think so).
