I am using NGK G power spark plug, new air filter, new carburetor!, Motul 20w 40 mineral engine oil.

    Any suggestions pls....
Increased fuel supply without proportional increase in air supply? If that is the case try the zen mpfi airfilter mod.

Basically you use a zen mpfi's air filter instead of the oe air filter. It's a doable diy. The idea is from psr sir. I had done it and posted a diy. Please search the thread.

Was thinking about increasing front fork height. When I asked the mechanic, he said it can be increased upto 1.5 inches. He is a Yamaha rx specialist and has done same setup on many rxs. Planning to do the same tomorrow. Any suggestions or opinions xbhpians?

                Why?

You might have a problem when you put the bike on center stand. I'm having it with my RX.

                And how is it done?

I'm a person with backpain while using bikes. Even with zma. So thought about increasing front height for a bit more upright posture. Couldn't ask about the procedure because I asked him via phone call. Guess I should look how much gap is there between front tyre and ground on main Stand now and figure the height to be increased.. how was it done for your rx?

Please consider opting for Xtreme forks over going for a fork extension. Though they'd seem cost effective using extension adapters has an adverse effect on structural integrity.

My height is 5"7. So increasing more than one inch will make the bike difficult for me to handle. That is why I don't want to use xtreme forks. I don't think it will be a good idea to spend that much for increasing one inch. If using extension adapters is really bad, I guess I shouldn't do it. I've changed fork oil, oil seal and conset around 8000 kms ago. But the handle is not stable at speeds over 60 kmph. Also, the fork pipe goes inside when I sit one the bike (approximately one inch) . Is this normal or do I've to change the springs?. Was planning to change spring, oil and increase the height. Now I feel like I should think again .[emoji849]

                        Hi RyderGeorge,

My bike has done 38k km, 60% out of which has come by long distance touring.
Lat month, I started experiencing back pain.

Did a check on my bikes's rear shocks and to my horror both were deformed. Changed them (got ZMR's gas filled ones, but had to give up on saree gaurd).
The is ride more supple now.
Next thing on list is seat foam change.
Also, I have to start doing back exercise to be fit enough to ride the bike.

Do give a thought on these points before you decide to change the forks.
                        Do keep us informed.

Hi rushikesh.ware, I think the rear shocks are working fine. mechanic also said so. The works I've in mind is greasing the swing arm, seat foam change, changing to g power plug, fixing a crash guard and changing the front fairing (ordered from SparesCompany but received low quality product so returned it) and a park light bulb replacement (one of them is gone). I've not faced any trouble in getting zma parts such as camshaft, rocker arms, air filter, turn signals, tensioner, valves etc. I've changed all of these parts. But finding a g power is not possible here. Also the rimula r4 engine oil. When I hit speed bumps at more than 50kmph, I usually wish that if zma had a better rear shocks. I don't know about the suspension of other zma. Please Let me know how to check my rear suspension myself .

                            Hi George,

Visually the rear shocks look ok, even I was fooled by the ASC mechanic.
I had a major back pain and also started taking medicines for it. Then I said, let me change the shocks any way as I had done 36k km.
I got ZMR's rear gas filled ones and after I removed the stock ones that were then on my bike, I simply rolled them on the floor.
The shocks had got a bend, so they did not roll over. This was not visible to naked eyes.

Had done 2.4k km on the ZMR's gas filled ones. Rode on highway, city (with the potholes and speed breakers) and a bit of off-roading.
They are much better the stock ones.

Hmmmmm.. how much was the cost? I'm not planning to change it because I've already spend a a lot on this machine. Also, karizma causes me very less pain when compared to other bikes and this pain is there only when I'm riding with a heavy backpack. I'm sorry that I said back pain in my previous post[emoji87] I think that was because of the backpack. I'm facing little bit shoulder pain after long ride and wrist pain while riding in heavy traffic. That is why I thought it is the problem of front fork and decided to change spring and fork oil. And I thought why shouldn't increase the front height so I can be a bit more comfy.
