well thats a drop of about 4kmpl from current but liveable
also should a further adjust it to 3 turns??

i will again check the plugafter ~50 kms and post the pics, you saw how white my plug currently is, it can even give Britishers a complex
lets see how much of a tan it can get at the beach (roads)

    @SriramEfunds
well i have about half tank fuel, have to wait for some time for R2R method
There is a much simpler method to do...buy a cheap 100cc bike petrol tap from any seller, and fit it into a 1 liter pet bottle BOTTOM Tightly..Pour a little of water and see if it leaks..If it doesnot then clean it and fill measured 500ml of petrol in it..now put your bike AFR to the old setting ...close your petrol tap, start and idle engine till the petrol in the carb is used up, pull out the petrol tube and attach it to the new petrol bottle. The bottle will require longer petrol tube to reach carb.. Hang it by thick tape to the handle bar.. Now reset trip meter and ride test till the bike stops ..this is your old setting. Now again pour measured 500ml petrol in the bottle adjust to the new setting . Reset the trip meter and ride the same way and see how far you go till bike stops.
You now have accurate Kms from both the readings..
The measurement jar is easily available in most stores..

Once you have the Petrol bottle with tap ready...you can check your bike's FE any time, and every time you will be accurate.
You can also know the effect of any mods you do on the FE instantly.

Check for loose connection in the float sensor connection under the tank and also the harness connector to the display. No idea about cost.of the display unit....

For the speedometer sensor its 3k and for the whole speedo its nearly 10k.

Another alternate is ,....instead of facing repeated probs with carb why don't you change it with UCAL BS 29 from Pulsar at Rs.2,300/- or 2,500/-....and have peace of mind. The bs 29 will give you better performance and is more friendly to mods.....
I feel your carb has lots of sediments and the float bowl needs cleaning..
i tried making it rich and lean even then it didn't start beyond few seconds. I even gave my carb for cleaning[ mech cleaned in front of me] . I too had this thought of getting p220's carb . is it direct fit or i require any mods ? i heard that it preforms better than keihin30mm of Zma . any drop in mileage if i go for BS29 .
on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced

If I remember right you had air leak through your AFR screw and I had opined that you may try the Teflon tape as a stop gap arrangement...and now leak through the float bowl drain ...I think your carburetor had been played around by Mechs who knew nothing about it, and eventually turned it into a aluminum mass.
The Bs 29 is 29mm carb and the diference is only 1mm...so it should be a straight fit..Since the venturi is smaller by 1mm your velocity will be better, ie., low and mid end will be smooth, linear and a bit better than 30mm.your top end may be a little less theoretically, but practically there will be none..

Aneez take care to not drop the bike ....Go for a crash bar, otherwise the scoop fitting iron brackets will hit the left crank case and cause damage.

I found the engine to heat up with the under belly attached. I removed it the very next day after I got my bike & the engine temp went down.

I do not want to discourage you,but you will surely feel the difference with the underbelly on. Rest is your call.

May be before delivery it might have happened...even during transportation of bike in Lorry from manufacturer to the dealer...if you have no other injury mark on the bike then it is only transportation scratch.nothing to worry...in my case there are other scratches and dents...due to bike dropped in a parking lot.
Visor scratch due to birds sitting is unavoidable..Learn to live with scratches, dents and panel rattling...

You can remove the visor alone, so you can take it to any Sun film sticker guy and get a film stuck on it.
