What if you fall on the right side? The saree guard will jump this side as well? Even I had a spill just two weeks after I got my zma. It was on the Bangalore-Mysore highway at around 60 km/hr. There was a huge stone on the middle of the road and it was 3:30 a.m. Very low visibility and phat I went down. Luckily both me and my ride escaped with very very minor injuries. Thank God!

Nothing much me and bike got bruised abit, Yup sir it was a fair one wearing a red saree that caused my spill, She had a BIG REAR END ... With "KSRTC" written on it...
Yup... Definitely, and It keeps on getting better when the fair one's weigh only a few tons.
Glad you can smile through your miss adventure. Your sense of humor is EXCELLENT...
Did you take the Anti Tetanus shot, are the scratches and wounds cleaned and dressed ? please do not ignore road injuries, because roads contain most deadly infections....
      Please do take care.

dont know whats is wrong with my zma. i had turned AFR at 2.75 turns, and i am only getting 31kmpl in city. ZMA has done 530kms air filter in proper condition ,oil changed at 290 kms.

Men dont fall on their RIGHT ,
Yup have to say the plastics are way superior than tvs bikes. Cause my bike glided for some time before comming to a halt and that to balancing only on the left indicator and saree guard and still the indicator didnt break. Thank god for that.

Skipped the tetanus shot cause theres not even a scratch on my body, as i said sir, Just a few bruises, the bike took all the beating.

And speaking of my sense of humour, I do have a DEADLY one... Cause when I wrecked my estilo at 140kmph,cops and bystanders thought I was dead, but I jumped out of the cockpit laughing like crazy, not even a scratch thanks to my guardian angel(and seat belt). No matter how hard we wreck our ride it doesnt matter as long as we'r alright, cause money can buy a brand new zma, but cant buy life.

Were you wearing protection gears like jacket gloves apart from Helmet?

I'm happy that Saree guard helped save your leg. Likewise crash guard would save not just legs but life. I can't think what would have happened if you had removed the saree guard earlier. So if I were you would propogate having crash guard on their bikes even though it might spoils look of stock or gets hit on the mudguard instead of advsing against.

None, Not even a helmet cause was returning from temple. Im safe cause I went one way while the bike went the other route.

I'd never remove the saree guard, all my friends recommended to remove it, but you know.... deep down inside my gut reflex told me not to do it, and yipppe!!! I can walk. The saree guards made of real sturdy material.

Was it your reaction resulted in spill?

Yeah, I had two options go head first onto the bus or do a dead 90 degree cornor jamming the brakes real hard as a I can. I chose the latter.

Your Air filter is ok, you have new engine oil,and you have tuned AFR lean for mileage, so your mileage mostly depends on your riding style, traffic density and idling time.Of course the most important Petrol bunk and the measure and purity of petrol it gives, makes the most difference, between good and poor mileage.

Reminds me of Brutus words after killing friend Julius Caesar when he gives the reason as " It is not that I loved Caesar less but that i loved Rome more " in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar...are you an English Literature student ?

Atleast some of us got the opportunity to follow their dreams. I like english cause its the only language I can read and write, I grew up in tanzania and the only mode of communication was english, so I too had to go with the flow.

And dont worry sir, Am perfectly safe and thanks for the tip.

I had taken a test ride of CBZ Xtreme but after the old one got phased out I opted for Karizma as the new Xtreme and Hunks were not to my taste. My Initial Impression:
                                1. Idle RPM is set somewhere around 900 and this is causing a bit of problem. Especially today morning had a hard time with cold start.I guess I have to go to ASC to sort it.
                                2. Gears are a bit hard, hopefully will be fine after 1st service.
                                3. After running for some km when I switch off the engine there is some mild metallic knocking sound from exhaust area. Once heard an FZ owner to mention this thing in the FZ thread and it was said to be normal. Is it so?
                                4. Engine is smooth but hopefully it will get more smoother with time.
                                5. Handling is the one of the best among all the bikes I have ridden.
                                6. I was a bit apprehensive about Pick up but it is more than enough for me for the time being.

Keeping the engine RPM below 3.5 is like meditation. But have to do that for good life of my love. Hope to have a great time with the bike in coming time. Cheers.
