    Can I do something to sway you in that direction ? I have one on mine ( engine cowl taken off for the present) and Vineeth bro has one with the cowl on ( haven't seen it yet) . It doesn't look that bad and the safety it offers negates any set back in looks . I'm planning to put back the cowl though .

      Hi GUys,

          hey buddy ... My Karizma R .. giving me 30 - 33 kmpl ... only ...
          i drive every day around 30 km ... on high way with speed of 80 kmph n rpm 5 K .... done 7000 KM ... Even added some additive as told my SVC guy from mulund, mumbai ...

          is it normal ... of should i change my riding style ????

          coz at start u use to get above 35 ... after my accident it starts giving less then 33

              Yesterday i changed the oil to gulf 4t 10w30 but in the bottle it was written synthetic blend so is the oil synthetic or the normal one i got it for rs 220 and mrp was 250

                Seems on the higher side. Riding style counts a lot. I have hardly seen my bike returning below 40. Accelerate gently. Avoid sudden acceleration on any gear and you might see some improvement.

                Engine oil has been discussed extensively here. In short, synthetic blend is mineral.

                  Thanks mate. I have black karizma and not blue. It is in photo that it is appearing blue.

                      well if u want u can use hh oil (mineral) for winter orelse make your choice between motul 3000 4T plus 20w40 or gulf 4t plus 20w40 pour both the oil and check what works good for your machine in case of hh oil change at 1500km interval well as far as motul and gulf be free for 2000km or even more but still good to change at 2000k

                        fuse problem and rear suspension

                        guys my bike bike fuse is getting dead and all electrical gets off as in the headlight,pilot lamps,horn,self starter,meters etc till nw changed 3fuses again the same it goes off...wht must be the problem???


                        even my bike's rear suspension are gone as said by the service centre but they dnt hav it in stock...will i get warrenty of tht my bike has clocked 4200kms and is a jul2011 model..pls help..

                          Check for any short circuits.Have you fitted after market horns? check wires for direct contact with body near engine parts.

                                Had the same problem when bike got it checked in 3 svc but nobody was able to solve the problem then got the battery charged and fitted it tightly after since last 5 month have not faced the problem dont know its because of this or any other thing but till now have not faced the issue.

                                But a new problem has arrised yesterday gave the bike for servicing and told them to charge the battery and when i visited today they told (battery kharab hai) and after that horn is very slow and whenever i apply both brake the digital no goes invisible in the speedometer console and when i release the brake or stop using any other electrical they are back to life. the battery is stock 7amp is is 1.5 years old.
