Ok,Thanks,Then i have to place order for that too.Mine running on the old rubber bush,so i think the tank is bit lower in position and that made the fairing end bended towards the tank.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostNot much difference bro, If I remember right, your's is abit thinner than mine.Karizma Parts Manual - https://picasaweb.google.com/1010125...rizmaCatalogue

Yup, that'd be better. Since these things get deformed after prolonged use, it'd be always better to replace the worn ones.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostOk,Thanks,Then i have to place order for that too.Mine running on the old rubber bush,so i think the tank is bit lower in position and that made the fairing end bended towards the tank.

Lucky you. If by chance you get the fairing before getting the bushes, then I guess you better opt for spacer or something(between the fairing bolt.), for the time being. Cause am sure they wont replace if anything happens again.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostYeah.

Smaller Rear Sprocket
Hey guys. wondering if any of you are using a smaller sprocket on the rear.
I'm considering a <39 teeth sprocket for touring purpose.
would a pulsar 220 rear fit the bike, AFAIK its a 37 teeth
and pulsar 200 runs on 38 teeth,
or alternatively changed the front to 14T.?
You are NOT What u ride.. you are HOW you ride...

@Aneesh bro: I was experiencing knocking in lower gears and in lower RPM in hot engine - mostly after running 50+ km. Had a talk with PSR sir and decided to overhaul the engine head.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View Post@ on wheels

A change in the front sprocket = 3 teeth in the back sprocket.
Have been doing a research on the same for a while now.
My intended setup was rear 36T, but due to lack of loosely available parts the plans still on hold.Motorcycling Experience:

From what I read in various thread/posts. P220 rear sprockets can be used in Karizma. Seems the chain pitch is also same. Meaning you can continue using the stock front sprockets as well as stock chain. I am also considering changing my rear sprockets to P200. Although it keeps delaying as my current ones are still in very good conditions despite doing 23 k +. Why I am waiting is because I want to change the entire set of new sprockets/chain. And not just one piece, which btw is not recommended.Originally posted by pronoy_banerjee View PostHey guys. wondering if any of you are using a smaller sprocket on the rear.

Oh yes, I have toyed with changing to P220 o-ring chain as well (mine has no chain guard). Apparently the chain is slighly shorter than Karizma so needed to add additional link/s and I don't like this part, hence may forgo the plan unless I am confident of finding a way to properly add the extra link/s.

The Pulsar P220 and P200 rear sprockets of 39 ,38 are all compatible with the ZMA rear sprockets. But this will make the top end sluggish and may actually reduce the top speed due to 5th Gear ratio being 0.8.Stock setup itself makes it difficult to do true 145 Kmph...or touch 9,500 RPM.Originally posted by pronoy_banerjee View PostHey guys. wondering if any of you are using a smaller sprocket on the rear.

the front being 13t it accomodates the front sprocket chamber almost totally,
but actually i'm jus looking for a less stressed engine at higher speeds. I would change the sprocket after the tour is done.
Rite now,it's stock, doin 100 at 6k rpm.
I want to reduce it..
What Would you suggest.?
