Under emergency and essential conditions it is acceptable to lend your bike to friends...but otherwise keep it single handed..

Not at all lean sir, sparkplug shows normal colour, and afr was also at 4 turns, only yesterday switched to 3 turns. The reason I asked about the engine braking part was cause the engine's now abit less heavy, even though theres 250~400revs difference between cold and hot rpm's. The bike accelerates and de-accelerates quickly.

I'm not saying that you should not have quest for knowledge. However, it looks like every other day, you have some problem with your ride which is very sad. Had you continued for a week would have advised to change to some other bike. Anyone visiting ZMA ownership thread or someone want to know about ZMA before buying would reconsider his decision.

I even started lending my ride to the needy.

Are you fed up or was never interested in bike riding?

If you are asking after seeing the mobile pic posted by Vivek, then it is due to bad light. I've a crash bar and not guard and if you notice closely might get some shadow of it's presence.

To be frank my ride's still at its prime, why else would I worry about a small creaking sound which's almost non existant, if I had other issues .

Oh, It's nice to hear you still have it, It'd been a waste if you'd removed it, especially since its uber hard to get a good one like that, atleast in Kerala.

How long did the OE battery last ? I had directed you to Bansal motors for parts , which they are good for since they are the authorised stockist for HH for Bengal . Not for oil , they stock the default HH oil (BPCL made) and sell it at the printed price only . The bpcl made HH oil is the worst i've ever used in any bike . The much better Tide-Water made oil is now availble in kolkata , near Tipu sultan masjid(tollygunge phari) , just after you enter Prince Anwar Shah road and ride in for about 100 meters after the masjid, two small bike-parts shop on the right . The first one has it for 170 Rs per 900ml bottle . Try it .

speedometer is not working

Guys, My speedometer is not working, along with it the tripmeter and odometer are frozen with their kms. Tachometer is working fine. What could be the possible causes? What would be the cost of spares if any have to be replaced? Thanks in advance.

Check speedometer cable.

1. Speedo cable is kaput. Change cable.
2. Cable Came loose.
3. The geared plastic thingy inside the front wheels that makes the speedo cable turns is broken. I just replaced mine just a couple of days back. forgot the price, but maybe less than Rs. 50.

Could be anyone of the above.

need help?

when i accelerate or stop suddenly using front disc brake there is tak-tak sound from handlebar.....like we break small stick or ruler....what to do??

Check speedo cable for non-working of speedo.

Most probably "T" stem to be tightened.. It is known as the cone set and is responsible for the smooth left right movement of the handle bar..
