    any guesses ???

lastly, would anyone be kind enough to open up their left handle's switch box to click a photo & post it here... because i'm having a problem with reassembling a part... don't know in what orientation it goes in... it is something of the indicator... i'm attaching a picture it here... thanks in advance...
Ok it is good to know you can read connections and have some hands on experience.
The horn working when you rub the lead shows that the horn Contact switch ,inside the horn had developed loose contact/wear out...If the horn has screws on the periphery which can be opened then you can see the contact ...if it is sealed, say good bye to it and get a new one.
The pic of metal piece you posted is the wire harness hold down ,clamp. If you see the clamp, it has a screw hole into which a small machine screw will go in and the thread for the same is in the lower part of the switch assembly...I will try and post a pic to-morrow after 11 AM.

thank you very much psr ji...
& about the horn... it is a new one... not even used for 1 day properly...
it has no problems when directly connected to the battery...
the only screw on the back of the horn is the sound adjustment screw.
It does feel great to have a tank of petrol between your legs & explosions just under it.

I am getting 38 or more kms per liter in city , after the Emulsion tube mod.
Isnt 3 turns a lean setting ? Also I'm using Zen MPFI's air filter . That means air-flow restriction is less . Shouldn't the AF mixture be lean now ?
BTW I am using NGK Iridium .
My riding ( short rides only , constant gear changing and acceleration , medium to high RPM ) style gives me a max of 30 kmpl . Havent ridden for mileage till now on any bike . But it'd be nice to improve the mileage without changing my style .

The company has declared the top speed of the bike to be 125Kmph so anything above 100Kmph is good. So I'd suggest you to stop worrying and carry on riding.

If it were the brakes, by now the following would've happened.
Rear - Completely worn out brakes.
                  Front - Caliper melt down.

Also is the gap correct ?

If a clearer pic is needed I'll get one .
Perfect. If the 100+ acceleration is'nt affected then ok, else up the AFR to 3.5~4 Turns.

Dont bother about it unless it starts making tappet sound.

You'll have to change to ZMR swingarm and then adapt the ZMR rear disk setup, but the total cost will be between 10~15K. Had thought about it sometime back and the SVC guaranteed that it can be done, but since genuine parts are used the costs will be higher.

                          • Has anyone experienced Kicker slips??? I've started using the kicker for a few weeks now and have noticed that the kicker grips only like 1 out of 3 times sometimes and the rest of the times its ok.And sometimes the kicker gets stuck in between and kicks back, I guess its because of me not kicking @ TDC, but are'nt modern bikes supposed to do that on their own??? And now after going through all this, now I feel as if the efficiency of my self started has also gone down, because usually the bike use'd to fire up in the first press i.e without choke, but now it takes about 3 presses(still without choke.) Is this normal or is it somehow related to the kicker issue??? And sometimes the kicker bites something at the beginning and when pushed down makes an audible TAK sound and slips, even though it starts, this too happens only once in a while.

                              Heres the quotation.
Got(or rather forcibly took) the bike back today! Changed the front left and right cowl, headlamp, front fender gear lever and a footrest bracket. The bill was just 30 bucks shy of 9k.
I didnt replace any of the other plastics as i plan of riveting them together! I dont care much for the looks anyway.

The experience was HORRIBLE to say the least! The service adviser refused to give me a contact number and told me to get in touch with the mech and didnt even tell me who the mech working on the bike was. Although the service center is out of my way, i dropped in every evening for an update but the adviser just ignored me. Tried escalating this issue but no one seemed to care - i.e. till i decided to show up on the Fireblade! Thatch when they started taking me seriously! A day later, the bike was fixed and ready for delivery!!

Parts quality has gone from bad to worse! Cheap metal and horrible finish!!

Tomorrow ill put back the crash guard, aux lamps, LED's and HID's.

                              Cheers!

i had recently used my zma for nearly 3 weeks with a dead battery... so had a lot of experience with kicking... my kicker slips once in about 30 kicks... no other kicker problems as you mentioned (not even once)... after installing new battery i need to long press nearly 5 five times with choke pulled in the morning... after that, 1 press without choke should startup the engine (max 3 press, rarely)... personally, i feel self is efficient than kicker because i had to kick almost 10 times in the morning & there would be petrol smell around the bike...
