Thanks, just hoping it'd remain like that after am done with it.

The reason I mentioned it to act similar to a cleaner is cause, my chain had been running dry for as close to 2.5K and was so dirty that it was blacker than the bike, and when I applied the spray without any prior cleaning all the dirt started to come off and looks as good as new, as you can see in the pic. And normally before an oil change I partially unscrew the drain bolt before going to buy the oil so that as soon as I get back home I can unscrew it and let all the oil flow out. But this time when I parked the bike at the SVC there were large drops of black stuff that looked like oil, and I suspected that it must be from the drain bolt leaking, so hurried home and when had a closer look was surprised to know that it was the chain lube dripping, remember bro its been a whole day since I've applied them and even after running for say 30+ Kms they're still doing their thing. Im really satisfied with them and I'll also have to say that they're worth the price paid.

BTW how frequently do we have to re-apply it???

There is no such thumb rule,if you are more of a serious rider then you will need to lube it more frequently.Generally, lubing it every 350kms or so will prolong the chain's life.

          • Its been a long time since i did 120 on my ZMA there were a couple of reasons behind it , clutch plate were worn out , loose chain.

So this weekend did a lot of changes.

            1. Replaced Cluch plates, pressure plates = 1350 + 150
            2. Replaced Front and rear sprockets and chain = 950
            3. Replaced Rear Brakes and Front Disc brake pads = ?
            4. Replaced Engine oil with Gulf Pride 4T Plus = 250
            5. Replaced Front and Rear Tyres with Michelin Sirac Street.
            Front 2.75 Sirac Street = 1700
            Rear 100/90 - 18 Sirac Street = 2150

            Experience
            1. Engine feels awesome.
            2. Gear shift are nice and smooth.
            3. Power delivery to the tires feels instantaneous, the bike would just jump if i pulled the throttle a bit its thats good.
            4. Tyre grip feels good better than my old zapper.

Well one thing is still amiss i am not able to reach my earlier top speed of 120.

Whats going wrong i cant undersand , its the same road same weather conditions which i have been traveling for years whats going wrong i cant figure out.

Top speed i could attain was 120 i recollect it was a different feeling all together when i reached 120.

Right now, during my top speed the speedometer needle is pointing between 100 and 110 and it would never rise about the 110 mark at all.

Beyond my scope of knowledge. Experts please comment on this.

Might be some issue with the carb

Or else the piston rings might be worn out resulting in loss of compression.

Could be anything from the air filter to the carb to compression to a clogged exhaust to low air pressure in the tyre to even tps not working properly.

And in other news, i finally decided to have all the rattly plastics replaced.

Hold the key by the metal tip using a plier and hold the plastic end under a flame for a few minutes, and the plastic part'll burn off, now hold it under tap water and the debris will be automatically washed off and you have a brand new keyring. Here have a look at mine.

The blacked out portion is the identity code, it appears when the plastic is melted off, its used to aquire duplicate key's from HMC.
Thats all for now, Ride Safe.
nice play with the keys great idea..

                            • My gwd Zahin 14K for plastic parts.Thats a BoomB.
Mera bus chale to i would glue all the parts together and make sure they never fall apart or tie them together with tie locks.
Most shocking is the front fender 1K alone. The RX plastic fenders come for 350 bucks.
Just extortion from HH, and whats great is no one will be able to resolve the problem on the bike.

Possible reasons for lesser top speed....
You have New clutch plates which needs to mate and form proper friction,,so wait for 100 to 200 Kms.
You have new tires which are known for better grip, which equates to more friction on road, which equals lesser top speed.
You have 20w40 which will make the engine sluggish to rev, but after 200 Kms you should feel better engine response...if in doubt change to 10w30 and bike will easily reach 120 kmph, but will feel harsh, with sticky gear shifts.
Check correct Chain tightness ,without over tightening and making it easy for the wheel to rotate, and LUBRICATE properly....
Just some suggestions to cross check.....I presume your ZMA was able to do 120 before the change of components, and oil.
