Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Congratulations! Don't prolong oil change beyond 2500 km in any case. And with the new oil, keep checking dipstick oil levels every few 100 km initially.Originally posted by anmol_1990 View PostGot fresh rubber for my Karizma.

Re: Parts for Karizma R in NCR (Delhi)
Thanx for the reply mate!Originally posted by ankit.traveller View PostUsually you cannot find part like brake callipers even at super stockist of hero parts. Its better to pre order your part by paying advance to dealer/service center.
I have a couple more related quesries:
1. I have purchased a local manufacturer's brake caliper which costed me rs 900. Is it safe to install/use it?
2. Since TVS Apache's front brake pads are a ditect fit, can I use the Apache's calipers on Krizma?

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Hi All,
Any good mechanics for getting my zma-r serviced in south bangalore? it was standing still for last 1.5 years and want to restore it to former glory. replaced clutch plate, battery and rear tyre to get it running with the help of local mechanic, but still lot of work needed. I used to go to a guy called Alva near shopper's stop at Bannerghatta Road, is he still around?
Thanks,

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Hi guys.
I need help again, After a long time.
I own zma-r 2007 model. Presently i am facing following issues.
1. One way clutch makes noise some time while startup.
2. Third gear makes undesirable noise unlike other gears.
3. Timing chain degraded performance.
As One accident job old karizma model engine is available in reasonable bucks, I want suggestion regarding the usability of old karizma engine parts in my karizma-r.
If yes then how many parts can be used in my karizma r?
Thank you.Last edited by Saleh Talha; 03-12-2017, 02:44 PM.

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Hello guys,
I am facing stability issues with my 4 year old Karizma. Feels like the dynamics of the bike are gone, sways very much on uneven surfaces. Sometimes I feel like it throws me off while riding in the wind.
Odo - 45K.
i want to know whether this is common after riding it this long, Any thoughts.
I have changed fork oil, handle, coneset and front wheel bearings. Tyres are good with no cracks. Thanks in advance

How old are tires? Have you changed front tires yet? Are there any bends on the rim or forks?Originally posted by raj498 View PostHello guys,

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
I am facing too much vibrations under seat area, foot rest. Even pillion also complaining unbearable vibrations. I can feel these vibes even on idle when bike is not in motion. Have done so many things like- tightening of engine mount bolts, tightening of all plastic panel screws with extra rubber washers custom made, tried riding with 4.5 turns afr , cold tappet setting with feeler gauge etc but all in vein.
Though there is no engine oil consumption, can crankshaft be the suspect for severe vibrations? Note that bike extensively used in high speed touring including ladakh trip. Under seat vibrations are so severe that i can not ride the bike, my nuts are freaking out. LOL..

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Guys I have a quick question, I don't live in India and every year I come back. I was using rimula 4x 15w 20 and it was best oil I ever used, I have plenty of reasons.
Now I change the oil to shell ax 7, so it will cause any problem if the bike will not start in one year ?
