Hii, have one query about rear suspension of Karizma, i guess zma have hydraulic and zmr have grs .. I want to know which suspensions are better karizma r or zmr?

GRS apparently is comfier.

Hi experts,, I am new to the thread but proudly using zma for last six years. I want to know how to make zma's rear suspension like water bed. Because when I purchased the bike they were awesome but now they are stiffer. Even the new pair I got last month..

Change your current GRS with the OEM "original" new parts (again)
Or
Change the dials of the GRS - go down to the 1 click
or
Buy dual spring of Bajaj Platina dual suspension - >

1. ZMA v1 didn't come with GRS from factory. Only ZMR had it. I'm not sure about v2.
2. Platina suspension won't fit on a ZMA and if made to fit, it will only make matters worse. These are 2 different platforms, 2 different segments and one is considerably heavier than the other.

AFAIK, ZMA v1/v2 didn't have GRS.
It is the ZMR that is having GRS from the beginning.

In the absence of proper saddlebags, only bungee cords help.

Good Quality Bungee chords or tie strap. I use Btwin tie straps and they have been very good so far.

What is the idle length of the bungee cord I shall look for ? While I am checking in Amazon and other online sites, it says 80cms, 100cms, 120cms. So I'm confused here. Also ideally how many cords I shall use to secure the 36ltrs backpack to the rear seat. Actually I am planning to visit Hampi and Dandeli from Hyderabad. It's a 1 week trip on whole starting on 24th from Hyderabad. It's a solo ride, so just being keen on everything. My zma is already prepared for this. It's me still gathering all the necessary things.

Thank you Divya Sharan. I placed an order at outdoor travel gear website 24inch cords x 2. I hope 2 cords will do the job to hold 36 ltrs backpack. Right..?

I guess it should suffice but I'd advice on carrying at least 1 extra, should the need arise.
