Tried that method but its not that effective as u mentioned. Also can we guess it from sound. Worn out pads make a lot screeching sound. Is it right ?
Sorry i too meant calipers but just jumbled it.

Hi All - This is my first post

I own a karizma R and I am riding it from past 40 months. The bike sways/goes out of control when there is wind. The bike becomes unstable even at speeds of 50/60 , I have to literally slow down vehicle to get control of my bike. I am facing this problem only when there is good wind, else bike normal. I have been facing this problem from many months, but ignored.

I had a fall before 6 months and below hings done to my bike from past 6 months:
          1) Rear and Front tyre which are stock have been replaced
          2) Cone-set (or ball racer kit) and Front wheel bearings, handle are replaced
          3) Forks and both wheels alloys are checked and bends are removed after I had a fall which was before 5 months.

I rode bike for 40k and there is no play when I try move rear wheels. What could be the problem ? Also my bike not feels the same like before, it is like a good looking glamour bike. Any parts are to be checked or replaced for good pick up and smooth run?

          Thanks in advance.

Yeah, even I am experiencing this from past few rides... Although I have upgraded my tyres recently and rear one was an upsize.... Guys, does any one has any clue about why our bikes are shaking even while doing on the speed of 60KMPH

^^ check your swing arm bushes. Remove engine cowl and try to ride in sideways winds, mine got stable after removing it. I have leg guard instead of cowl.

If you meant crosswinds then remove engine cowl and fit a crashguard.

Hey guys! My friend bought a used zma recently. The problem with the bike is during cold starts it emits a lot of smoke but after 10-15 seconds the smoke disappears.. odo was at 20k when he bought it. What might be the issue here? Piston rings? Or is it time to get a new bore or rebore??

What is the colour of smoke?

If the color of smoke is blueish white then it is engine oil getting into the combustion chamber....If the smoke is only at the start and there is no appreciable decrease in engine oil level ie., no more than 50~80 ml for every 1,000 Kms,(sane riding) then suspect the Valve stem seals leak, which needs replacement.
