it could happen, the slide may not be moving as its supposed. reasons could not only be deposits but also friction.
can you get hold of another slide, maybe even a local make one and check ?
the parts of a carb tha mostly cause issues are the float and slide, the jets usually don't 'wear' or give up unless one has been poking and messing with them.
take the bike to another service station or mechanic, get their opinion and see if they can check and fix it for you.. it's like a second opinion.
that hiccup is almost certainly fueling issues.
one last simple thing that i could think of is, try riding the bike for a couple of km with the petrol tank lid open

I had faced issue with my Hunk's vacuum piston couple of month's back.
The symptoms looked similar to yours. Bike was running fine for short trips. But during my ride to native which is 200 kms far, the problem occurred 3-4 times - If I open the throttle after closing the throttle for a couple of seconds, the bike won't respond for a fraction of a second and then comes to life suddenly.
My mechanic opened the carb and showed me scratch marks on the vacuum piston. Vacuum piston was changed, carb cleaned and problem didn't resurface (I faced another issue after this, that is a different story altogether and nothing to do with the carb).
By the way my bike had run 45k kms when the issue happened and the carb is the one that came with the bike.

I tried riding with fuel lid opening many times but no results. Now I have a habit of keeping spare key with me due to this.

Confusion is that, if slide is the culprit then why problem reappeared immediately after changing whole carb in warranty. On the other hand whenever I clean the slide problem go away for few kms but come back.

Ordered carb slide also from distributer, will take some time. It is not available anywhere here in lucknow.

I have never opened whole air box unit, may be area beyond air filtr element have some minute crack or rubber seal damaged which is causing dirt to mix with filtered air and thus causing slide deposits repeatedly.

        No scratch on slide visible.

          Had a talk with mechanic.

Its the camshaft and rockers. Change as a set and not individual.

Have faced same problem in two bikes. A kawasaki 4s champion and another pleasure.

Hell!!! Even rockers are not available here. No point in investing more time with the bike now.

Tried in 4 ASCs and with UP distributer of hero parts, also with few retail stores.

Why don't you try another mechanic, sometimes a new pair of hands can fix overlooked/repeat issues. pay attention to the intake side for any vacuum leaks or simply change the intake manifold

Bro, my steed is inspected by different private mechanics apart from ASC but no one can diagnose the problem. I am waiting for few parts to reach as suggested by SIBUN, once received I will do all the necessary things which are suspected, including intake side full checkup.

I kinda have a feeling that Lucknow doesn't have good mechanics.. I remember I had to roam around to find a mechanic who was ready to tight the chain for my bike..

I read your nepal tlog long time back. Awesome it was!!! In lucknow, most of the mechanics are general (plug & play) type. They dont want to use their mind or invest their time in sorting out root cause.
