    2. I didnt change the speedo setup.

    3. I used the zma mudguard with some minor mods. If u use an 18" dia wheel, no mods will be needed. .

Keep us updated about ur modification...

I am missing something here. If I understand correctly, is Impulse's fork setup is fitted to Karizma?

When was it last changed, or how many km have you used the existing one?

I replaced mine after 35k km. It was terribly dirty (during the servicing at ASC, they used to clean it with air pressure and reuse it), but this time I decided to change it with a new one.

I bought a used zma which has clocked 27 in odo now. I dont think the odometer reading is correct. The mechanic told me that he has changed the air filter at last service and that was before 3500 k.m. But the filter is not looking like a new one. I doubt the mechanic. Also, my idle rpm is not stable

in my case the issue was with piston rings
after that the idle rpm problem got fixed

                          1. Clean air filter, check for leakages in intake system, carb, clean spark plug adjust gap, check rear brakes if they are jamming tyres, adjust chain slack.
                          2. Ride the bike for few km to warm up engine.
                          - open left panel (air filter side)
                          3. Locate fuel screw in carb (left side)
                          4. Let the engine idle for some time.
                          5. Now increase the idle rpm to 3500rpm with ur hand with rpm screw located on carb near kick .
                          6. Let engine run for few seconds at 3500rpm.
                          7. Take a electric tester type screw driver.
                          8. Turn fuel screw clock wise slowly n gently until it stops, do not put force. Slowly engine rpm will decrease and at the end engine will try shut (leanest point of air fuel ratio- means now u have almost cut supply of fuel to burn).
                          9. Now turn fuel screw anticlockwise 3.5 times means 360 degre 3 full turns plus 1 half turn 180 degree..take help by looking position of screw.
                          10. Now let the engine run for few seconds at this position..you will hear prper humming.
                          11. Now get back idle rpm to 1200 or 1300 by idle screw on carb right side.
                          12. Start n stop engine multiple times..it should start without fuss.

also spray some wd 40 on screw before tuning it,it would remove moisture from screw

Also when you rotate the screw do it with very light hands,if you do with too much pressure

it may cause damage to carburretor

It costed me ~550 around 4 years ago. it was Made in Japan.
in these years, we have new tax system and some changes to import duties, so expect slightly higher price. Be lucky, if the price has come down.
