Does any one know for how long the original spares of zma v1
    would be manufactured by hero
    is there any specified time?
will it be available 5 years from now?

Your difference in rpm 1900 and 1600 is normal
as when engine is hot,it gives a more power output as compared to cooled one
Your idle rpm should be 1200 rpm
Ride for 10-15 minutes and then set to 1200rpm
i hope you know how to set idle rpm in zma
if dont tell me,i wil help you

Regarding handlebar vibrations ,you need to check all the joints, screws are fitted properly
and theres no breakage in any of body parts
and if vibrates only during cold start idling ,again its normal
it tend to happen with most of the bikes.
The vibration is always there. I'm sorry that I mentioned vibration of the Handlebars only. The bike totally vibrates even after completing a dozen kms. We can easily notice the vibration of exhaust and rear turn indicators.

cant tell without having a look at the bike.
        .
        Where do you live?
Try finding some xbhpian in your city
and ask them for a suitable mechanic to rectify the problem.
        One more suggestion ,
visit 4-5 different mechanics ,and tell them the problem and see what the say

post it here, and we would help you on deciding a conclusion

Not sure to what extent this info is correct, but as per law, our vehicles are registered for 15 years, so technically, manufacturer should supply the required spares for this period. The ZMA-R version was discontinued in 2013 (i think), so we hardly get spares for next 2 or 3 years. After that, they triple the cost or so, to fend you off. we end up getting rid of our bikes, because of this.

or the carb need to be tuned?
Yes it is normal and nothing to worry about..It happens with every Internal combustion engine, irrespective of being Diesel, or Petrol, of multicylinder or single cylinder...

My carb screws were stuck and lost threading so my bike never crossed 110. I couldn’t tune it too.
You can try taking the carburetor out and soaking the screw area with WD 40 or DOT 4 brake oil for one hour and try turning it...Tapping gently on the screw with screw driver, will loosen the oxide formation ,and then the screw will be able to turn.Tope speed is not affected by idle screw but by Needle position and Main jet..the throttle slide must also be free to move up or down..

Just posted in fz25 thread. Have a look.
                      Power- zma feels punny now
Handling- better in zma at high speeds
Both are comfortable in both city and tours

No other Indian bike can match the refinement of zma engine. Thanks brother.

Friends, the rubber tripmeter switch on my metre console is lost. When I contacted nearby hero service centre, they told me to replace whole metre console😟 . Any idea about the availability of this?

try getting one from used spare parts shop
else live with it,you can use a pointed object to use trip

                              stick to stock
unncessary air flow can cause harm to carb
and get it damaged, and fixing it would cost you a lot

The chief Mechanic at a ASC told me that most components have been indigenised and are not same quality as the ones sold 3 yrs back....how long they will support is questionable, but at a guess may be 3 more years, after which local suppliers only will be able to support.
