I just gave him the original one, they are smart enough to fabricate.he salvaged the tab from original one. Also he had just tack welded few places I did a trial fit today and will hand over for complete welding tomorrow.
Will post pics once I fit the battery.
Regarding gauge I will let u know the thickness tomorrow.

I know guys who have upgraded to a higher amp battery on the stock battery housing by modifying it. Since you are fabricating the housing from scratch, may be it is a good idea to go for measurement to accommodate higher amp battery?

But then the fiber side panel won't fit...

I think, the battery holding steel plate/bracket needs to protrude out, to accommodate bigger battery. Saw it somewhere on net too.

Battery thickness is not a problem. But the clamp which holds the battery in place needs to protrude out, to accommodate it. I have seen people done it but don’t have any photos.

I think yes, but the battery should be connected.

I have 9ah amaron battery on my Karizma.
But I wanted to keep this stock.Anyways you need to only bend the front clamp to accommodate the 9ah battery.

                • Karizma R mileage

Hello guys I bought a used 2012 model karizma r which clocked 27000kms now. It returns a mileage around 45-50kmpl without pillion in highways and a very low mileage around 30kmpl in average traffic. I usually upshift at 3000 rpm in traffic and at 4000 rpm at Highways. Any ways to increase city mileage?

Finally the easier part is done. I had misplaced my glue gun and was too lazy to look for it. It turned up in my electrical bin !! Have to take a better look in daylight to check for gaps.
The installation will be in about a month's time. When my RX comes out of the workshop, the ZMA goes in.

too much usage of clutch decreases average
                              could be in your case
there cant be any other reason
