Is the tyre you are using at rear soft compound?
Which tyre size and brand you are using at front to complement the upside tyre at the rear?
Both are Ceat tubeless tyres. Zoom 120/80/18 at rear and Secura Zoom F 2.75-18. Not sure which compound tyre it is, but definitely not a hard.

Maybe a medium compound as I have done more than 20k and never have I felt loosing grip or fish tailing which was the case with the stock MRF tyres. At first I was hunting for the MRF zapper Q but that time there was shortage of MRF everywhere.

Now the time is up for these and it's time for a fresh pair. Also one thing to mention is, sourcing rubber for ZMA is not easy specially if you're up sizing the tyre because it needs 18inch tyres. And what I have experienced after riding for so many years is, that I want my both tyres to have grooves in the centre. That gives bike better grip in monsoons.

Yes the tyres should have grooves in the center. My karizma R has done 25K and these zappers are giving me hard time even at 40 km/hr. Will change tyres in 2-3 days.

        • Karizma R main fuse(20A) blows up at higher speeds

          Hi Friends,

I am facing a weird issue with my karizma R(2013). When i cross 60 KMPH on speedo the main fuse is getting blown up. I do not see any power drop on head lights, horn, indicators everything is perfect but it happens only at higher rpm it seems. Also after replacing the 20A fuse when i try to self start i am getting a tick tick noise and bike didn't start but it will start after a good run around 10 - 15 KM

When i use kick start it is getting started in the first try. Currently i replaced the fuse with 30A instead of 20A and driving at low speeds (lessthan 50KM ):-(

Can someone help me on this issue? Is this related to RR unit or a possible wire grounded to earth?

Did anyone faced this issue before??

          Please suggest.

          Regards,
          Pradeep.

Either there is faulty RR unit or some exposed wire touching chassis. I had same issue when I was on tour 2 years back, I installed a connector for electric air pump which was touching metal due to which main fuse blow various times.

Check with neutral gear and raising the rpm to 4000 and above and see whether the fuse blows.Do not change fuse with other rating ,the fuse blows to save your electricals ,do not attempt to save the fuse.
