Im not planning to use only hid's , neither i will be doing anything with wiring, i will just buy pulsar 200 projectors and keep the original halogen bulb that comes with projector, low one 55w and high beam 65 watt, and need to change connectors only. As i have seen low beam is more than enough compared to what i have right now, will atleast one 55w bulb work with karizma? Or it will effect my battery and wires. I sincerly want to know honest opinions and options available.

Many of us ( including myself ) are using 55/60 HL bulbs. It's a big improvement over the OE setup. Please do check the thread.Originally posted by Abhi303 View PostIm not planning to use only hid's , neither i will be doing anything with wiring, i will just buy pulsar 200 projectors and keep the original halogen bulb that comes with projector, low one 55w and high beam 65 watt, and need to change connectors only. If you are going for 55/60, Try to use a Relay for wiring, so it doesnt put more load on Stock wiring.Originally posted by acs1207 View PostMany of us ( including myself ) are using 55/60 HL bulbs. It's a big improvement over the OE setup. Please do check the thread.
Be prepared for reflector damage, if any. (Try to go for Philips Xtreme or Osram Nightbreaker or some other branded products, so their heat generation is within limits.)
Why not look at LED setup, which are cheaper and provide more light? just have some patience and check. There are new LED bulbs which will fit in stock head light unit. You can also chose to install external AUX lights too.
What all i am saying, is try to consider all options, prior you touch the stock wiring. i faced some issues with the wiring with changes.

Definitely true. Success or failure of 200 will depend upon sales figure, so we should for that details.Originally posted by Om1234 View Postits not something big for us,but a definitely a big step for hero ,that atleast they are trying
something in 200cc and during launch the executives said that they would be focusing more on launching bikes for the youth,
They may improve with time.
I was not excited about the launch of Xtreme, but I am wondering if parts such as ABS module, larger disc caliper can be retro fitted on Karizma?Rushikesh

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
I appreciate ur concern with wiring but i will need to alter only bulb connectors(if connectors are of same type then not even connectors) and install projectors insude headlights. About led's im not in any mood to add aux led lamps or led bulbs in headlight, reason is if they are cheap they are not good, if they are good then they are overpriced.Originally posted by kris123456 View PostIf you are going for 55/60, Try to use a Relay for wiring, so it doesnt put more load on Stock wiring.

I plan to remove reflectors and add rs 200 projectors directly inside headlight.
A guy from dehradun has already done this. Photos are below.
I will need to know more about the relays which you are talking about
