Yes, but not that much! On top of that i have free flow exhaust installed, which creates vibrations even more. I used to get humming sound earlier and it was irritating. But late i bought a 2mm thin foam type material which is used to make caps, and opened the faring and filled in every gaps. Now its sound free but veri minor vinrations are there.

Try double sided tape to reduce vibes from visor.

Nothing will help, as they are vibrations from engine and free flow exhaust. Important is noise which is not there now after fitting in paddings everywhere. I dnt like using double tapes as they soak water and then start to peel off. I will try to show the material i used. Its best thing i could ever find to feel in gaps. Its been a year now and no issue at all with material. Ill post pics later with details.

dont go for local body parts, they will not fit in properly ,leaving various gaps ,which would further increase the vibration and would break in no time.

                    Updates for Jan-2018:-

Did a Pune to Shivneri (The birthplace of King Shivaji) one day ride in January.
A short video is here on my channel.

The chain cover had given up at the mounting points, so bought a new set and did a DIY job in putting them.
The below one came out easily, while for the above one, I had to remove the rear brake liner hub and loosen the wheel to make enough gap.
Since the chain was exposed, cleaned it with Kerosene followed by oiling. Also cleaned the rear brake drum, liner hub, and the liner springs.
Greased each bit (excluding the liner's and drum's friction surface) before putting it back.

The gear shifts were feeling clunky and the engine was feeling a bit rough, so checked engine oil level. The oil was low which a surprise as I have clocked only 2,000 km approx. I usual do 2,500. Since I had time, changed the oil (Motul 5100 10w30). Should be set for next 2500 km.

                    Thanks,
                    Rushi

I read somewhere, it makes 18 bhp and has a top speed of 124km/hr. It has become a butt of jokes. In 2018, 124 km/hr does not mean so much.
However, what I understand, it is simple design and therefore should be reliable. The cost of ownership should be low.

Yes, nothing to brag, but atleast hero had finally started to adapt new tech. Its too late, but hope it makes a comeback.

                          Long time posting here!

Recently I am having some issue with the Karizma engine.
I was abroad so didn’t use the bike for 30+ days. Bike started like a champ in 5-6th try on self-start + choke. But there is some compression leak noise similar to old Royal Enfield’s. (Like Psst..psst…psst)
Its varies with respect to RPM. I’m also have feeling bike had lost a lot of power.
I changed oil after driving it for 100Kms because it was due and bike was sitting idle for 30+ Days.
But I’m sure this is an issue related to piston or compression.

ITs is a 2007 ZMA R …I service my bike well, changed timing chain and clutch 5 months ago. Oil is 800km old.
So rather than taking it to service center or a workshop and hear their imaginative taughts.
I taught of ask for some advice here
                          Thanks in advance!

What new tech does it have?? Am I missing something? It’s a carb bike generating 17 bhp and similar amount of torque. R15 generates more power than this.

Not the latest tech im saying, but similar features that other bikes have common these days,
                              1. Engine kill switch - first time in a hero bike
                              2. Semi digital speedometer - 2nd time after zmr
                              3. 100 section front and 130 section radial rear tyres
                              4. 17" alloy wheels - allows wide eange of tyres to choose.
                              5. 37 mm diameter front forks, 7 step adjustable rear monoshock
                              6. 276mm disc at front with optional abs, and 220 mm rear disc

People may find specs not enough, but for hero it may be first step towards race segment.

                                .
                                Disc is from old karizma
37mm forks could be shared with glamour or other bikes. This segment standard is above 40 mm.
17 inch alloys are a downgrade in my opinion.
Many other bikes have semi digital speedometer. It is already in some other bikes too.
Engine kill switch? As a feature?

Show me where the value is. I can’t find it anywhere. Show me what it brings to this segment? Engine kill switch?
