    Om1234, I tuned the carburetor. The rpm decreases after 2.5 turns of fuel screw. It is working fine with 1 turn of the fuel screw. I know karizma's stock tuming is 3.5 turns. But mine is working fine with just one turn. The carburetor is one which i got from a spare parts shop. The shopkeeper said it is original and he got at very cheap rate. It looked like a new one. I paid just 1900 for that. The top part of the carburetor was broken. They said they broke it to list it as a damaged product. I tuned bike just before an hour. I took it for a test ride. The vibrations has decreased. Rpm is not really steady. Very little fluctuations are there.

      Below are the links to my experiences with Motul:-
      1. Review: Motul 5100 4T 10W30 -> Semi Synthetic : Is good for 70% city and 30% highway use
      2. Review: Motul 7100 4T 10w40 -> Fully Synthetic : Is good for 70% highway and 30% city use

      Heating is surely a symptom of oil gone bad (also check oil level using the dip stick) but I am not sure about bike feeling exhausted. Overheating maybe?

          Mileage per liter drops. do it if you want. Bike runs smoother on highways with 10W 40. In city, pickup drops and as said earlier, less mileage.

              you can go as per manual or you can use 20W-40. 20W-40 life is more than 10W-30. If you want mileage, stick to manual. If you dont want to change oil for 4k or 5k, go for 20W-40.

                20w40 doesnt have more life compared to 10w30 , both have same drain intervals

                  Agreed, any grade engine oil for that matter especially on air cooled engines. I would suggest a drain interval of 2000 kms with a maximum stretch to about 2500 kms. But saying that, i change the engine oil after a month or so irrespective of the kilometers run.

                  10w30 is good for city riding and helps a tad little with cold starts. I would suggest this grade for people living in cold areas. Engine will be get heated soon and will give a slightly smoother performance. Drain intervals might be earlier than 2000 kms depending on the riding style.

                  20w40 will be good for the highways and hot climatic conditions.

                  IMO, 10w30 grade oil will just do enough for the Karizma. My bike really enjoyed the Mobil 1 10w30 oil. Next best what i felt was the Shell Rimula r4 15w40 oil. So if anyone wants to jump from a 10w30 grade to different one, i suggest start with 10w40 grade and see if you like it. There are many options available. I have only tried the Shell AX7 10w40. Its good for about 1300-1700 kms at the most (again my riding style here). But not the best oil for sure for ZMA.

                  I would advise sticking to mineral oils. Synthetic ones are just fancy for me as drain intervals are the same like i said above. From experience i can say, air cooled engines prefer mineral oils over semi or fully synthetic or w50 grades (keeping drain intervals in mind). Please note that bike will run on any engine oil but 20w40 would be the max grade I'd
                  go for. Plus it's lighter on the pocket too!!! [emoji41]

                          Why because lots of fakes around. Like i mentioned before mobil1 10w30 is a good option if you can source one. There is also Shell ax5 in 10w30, Motul 3100 and 5100 and few other brands like valvoline, gulfstar, hp, servo etc etc...
                          Your next best option would be 10w40 (shell ax7 and Mobil extra 4t). Mind these are semi synthetic. Most other 10w40 are synthetic oil which i have seen.

                            I have the same karizma r v2. Few questions here.

                            1.Where to get this 105 jet
                            2.How much does it cost
                            3.what is its effect on bike and on average
                            4. Why did you reverted the changes

                            Suggestions :
                            Install old zmr clipons for better riding position. I have installed them too. Fits directly. Just need to low down brake/clutch lever angles. Zmr clipons will let you ride sitting straight and wont give you any backpains.

                              Please dont suggest that, original air filter are much better and they also contain engine breather hole. So best to leave original things as it is.

                                Free flow exhaust doesn't helps much other than attracting police. Dnt change stock silencer. If You do, you will miss the silence running on highways. And also feel vibrations because of free flow exhausts.
