Apart from the above mentioned variables, do check for the correct tire pressure and wheel alignment. Are both wheels in line?Originally posted by raj498 View Post

Air pressure 30 in front and 35 in rear. I check the air pressure every 10 days. Wheel throughing is done and wheels are in line .
Also, with a pillion the bike doesn't seem alright. I could feel the rear portion moving with slight movement of pillion. Also the handling becomes tight with a pillion.
Thanks for the info.

Get rear suspension mounts checked. Do they damp well? Or have they hardened?Originally posted by raj498 View PostAir pressure 30 in front and 35 in rear. I check the air pressure every 10 days. Wheel throughing is done and wheels are in line .

30/35 is a little high IMO and might cause jarring rides. I maintain 29/33 all the time.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Are you facing this issue after changing fork oil ?Originally posted by raj498 View PostOdo - 39k
There is a problem with my bike front wheel or front part from past few months. The front wheel or handle kinda wobbles/vibrates above 50 speed. Also, if the road is little uneven the bike leans to one side making me scary.
Chain Sprocket, swing arm bushes are stock ones.
Both tyres, fork oil, coneset, front wheel bearings are replaced . No bend in the tyre rim or forks.
Thanks in advance.
Oil level on both forks not same.
1 weak spring

Problem with ZMA
Guys, need your help..
I own a 2013 ZMA and everything was fine until the short but intense rain that lashed chennai two days ago. The issue is, bike behaves normally until 3k RPM but runs out of breath after 3.5k onwards. It revs all the way up to 9k but there is total power loss. Revs climb but the speed doesn't and it is not the clutch for sure. I know how a slipping clutch feels like. Drained fuel from the carb using the bleed screw at the bottom and cleaned air filter but to no avail. Everything was good until it rained. After the rain the bike is a total mess. A splendor or even a activa beats me to 60. After 3-3.5k there is a total flat spot but the bike reaches 80 max when in 5th cog with WOT. Checked loose contact in the CDI, it is intact and the plug is new as well. So, it could be air/fuel/ignition timing.
Have to get this fixed, kindly share your inputs.

Your plug cap might be corroded due to rainwater. Replace it and see if it works.Originally posted by karthik_k View PostGuys, need your help..

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Any model will be fine except the new EBR uplifted ones. Till 2011 Honda was partners with hero. Do look at hero Honda models up to 2011. I bought a preowned 2011 model from hero Honda. Apart from a blown gasket no issues so far.Originally posted by Arun V Dev View PostGuys i am planning on buying a 2nd karizma R

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Guys, I have a query.
I am looking to pick up an old Hero Honda Karizma R purely for touring purposes. I currently have a FZ (2014) but it is a bit underpowered for the highways. After putting in a lot of thought, I have zeroed down on the Karizma which I will obviously freshen up/rebuild after purchasing. There is a R version (premium sports) available through a mechanic I trust but he says that old Karizma bikes have serious mileage issues and won't give me more than 25kmpl.
To me that is the only point of concern in a motorcycle which still is one of the best tourers available out here. Could you guys therefore give your views on the issue along with which would be an appropriate model year to look for.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
I had picked up a 2012 ZMA R recently. I have done around 2k kms so far. I checked the mileage couple of times and it hovered around 36-38 kmpl (80% two lane highway and 20% local village/town roads). On highway I used to maintain speeds between 60-80 kmpl.Originally posted by ALI.R View PostGuys, I have a query.
