Ax7 will be ok ok types after using rimular4. No problem in using one upto 1500-1800 kms. After that you will not like the engine feel much. Either you can stick to rimula series or look for a mineral based oil in 20w40 ratings.

I have changed rear tyre 13k kms back and front tyre 8k kms back. Also, I had a crash 9 months back after which there was a fork bend. Fork bend was removed, bike goes straight hands free.

I have doubt on the the forks, as this stability and handling issue started after the crash. Fork bend was removed twice. I want to know how much does the fork tube cost. Is it a good idea ?

Thanks.

Though there is no engine oil consumption, can crankshaft be the suspect for severe vibrations? Note that bike extensively used in high speed touring including ladakh trip. Under seat vibrations are so severe that i can not ride the bike, my nuts are freaking out. LOL..
I had faced a similar issue of increasing vibes some time back(though not as severe as you had posted). Here is what I did..I first changed the old clutch cable and set it up right, Blocked the Air cut off Valve, Changed the pILOT JET FROM 35 TO 32(available in ALIEXPRESS) and set my AFR to 3 turns. The bike had become much smoother now... The clutch feels very easy to operate and FE improved marginally by 2 kms per liter..

No problem in switching oils, or starting after one year..Please remember all oils start to react with atmosphere air and degenerate ,whether you use it or not...Normally an oil exposed to out side air, is supposed to be changed after a year to ensure engine gets same protection...

Honestly a bent fork can never be straightened correctly. A mismatch in the fork tube friction between a good and corrected tube can cause dissimilar travel and result in un acceptable performance..better to change the corrected tube..
If the crash was bad enough to bend the fork tube some damage to "T" stem and even chassis might have happened. So get that also checked...Check out wheel trueness.

Bro get a local made fairing as that is of much better quality than the original. This was told to me by the ASC mechanic.

The original is more costly n the loacal one retails at 1800-2500 in Mumbai.

Thanks for the detailed info bro. Any estimate on the fork tube cost. Whether both the fork tubes are to be changed or changing one would suffice ?

I visit this thread every day , and see many queries. I hope people read back on past posts to get the info they require since this is one of the most tech based thread wherein most of the problems and solutions for the same had been discussed in detail...

I hope you had done the earth wire mod for the ZMA-R which improves engine smoothness and power delivery....

Here are links to the pilot jets...

the link through which I bought my jet is this...I bought 3 jets of size 32, 35, and 38 for either reduction, replacement of OE and Upsizing in case I want to go for richer AFR..

this set of 10 jets for Keihin at a lower price from same vender also list the same size along with bigger sizes..Since I had not used this I am not sure of it's suitability.. I guess they both are good to fit in the Karizma Keihin V3 30mm carburetor since both the sets shown are M6 x 0.75 pitch threaded..This later 10 pilot jet set was not available at the time I ordered my requirement.

Both sets are the standard one with standard emulsion holes ..Honda uses the " S " type .

Hi,

I did not remove the chain cover for the tyre. No modification whatsoever is required for it. Rode initially for 100 kms up to this date and I am happy with them.

Thanks psr sir for your response. Due to contribution of expert person like you and other technically sound people, this thread covers almost 100% of technical things and solutions in detail for most of the motorcycle.

I have not done eartn wire mod sir till now.

Actually i am interested in getting smaller main jet for zma between 115 to 125 and planning to check which size work best for altitudes above 9000 feet because stock 125 main jet doesn't work at all above 9000 feet. Could you share the link where i can get correct smaller main jet from ali express?

Correct report. I switched from Motul 7100 10W40 which I was using since 2-3 years to AX7(blue bottle) and had the same feeling. At the beginning the bike was unbelievably smooth and responsive. I was simply amazed. It was my first time with Shell and it felt damn good! But things start to go south before you know it. That feel degrades mighty soon. But it's worth it. I helped my Zma with another serving of the same oil again. All in all its awesome for the price. I want to know how is the feel of the fully synthetic Shell(grey bottle) as compared to AX7.
