whenerver its the time to change the gear
my front body starts vibrating, and as soon as i change the gear it stops vibrating
i check all the screws, parts they are properly intact,so what could be the reason behind it?

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
It's normal. Say you upshift at 6k revs. The engine doesn't have a balancer to dampen vibes. Once you upshift, revs fall back to 4500 or so. Therefore it gets smoother.Originally posted by omkappoor999 View Postalso sir one problem in my zma

If you want to dampen vibes to an extent, you can use double sided tape and used tubes near fairing joints and screws.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: karizma r Engine Rebore Cost? and Where spare parts will available at cheap rate
DO NOT go for REBORE...better to buy standard OE bore along with Piston set , plus packing set and get it replaced...Best to get it done at The Authorised Service Center since the work will have some Guarantee on parts and workmanship...If you do it outside, then it is as good as throwing your money in dust bin....unless you have a reliable Mechanic you can trust..Originally posted by LOKESH2423 View PostHello Friends I'm Lokesh I own Karizma r 2007 Model Bike odometer is not working roughly it was at 70000 and it is very roughly used by previous owner so it cannot working properly i see a mechanic in ongole andhrapradesh they said you have to install new bore kit which cost of 10000rs so please tell me how much it cost to rebore and can you please help me to re bore vehicle at low cost where it can possible and also they are not saying confident about new bore also if you spend 10000 also they are warn me in future some problems will occur so please tell me what can i do? and also tell me where i can get spare parts as cheap ?because i'm from middle class fellow i cannot afford that much of price so please tell me your suggestions friends
The bore+piston kit will cost you approximately 4K packing kit another 500/-~600/-..These are prices from 2015..I don't know present pricing. Labour for the work will be 800~1K...any other part like oil seals etc., will be extra.
Always get the work done with ASC to get warranty on parts and Labour..and they will have necessary tools to do the job correctly.

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Longevity on the engine depends upon a lot of factors. A proper run in, proactive changing of engine oil (use any cheap oil and replace every 2k km), timely changing of air filter and spark plug, filling fuel from reputed bunks, proactively cleaning the carb, riding sanely most of the time etc are some factors that will help the engine outlast other components of the bike.Originally posted by NIGHTMARE View PostHi Psr what is life of engine and after how many km the piston needed to be changed. And how you understand and judge in what type of conditions.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Thanks. Well always maintained my bike and never compromise with anything. The problem is I don't live in India so once in a year i drive my bike whenever i come back to my hometown and I think total run is 40k.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostLongevity on the engine depends upon a lot of factors. Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Most mediums react with the elements in air and degrade...Petrol and Oil being hydrocarbons react a bit more with available air and deteriorates faster if not used. Petrol starts to deteriorate from day 15 and slowly turns into thick Varnish like substance in about 3 months if left without use. This is dangerous since it will gum up carburetor/Throttle body, Valves, and the Piston rings. A sediment forms at the bottom of the Petrol Tank and is tough to get rid of. The engine oil is a little better in this aspect, though , once exposed to air the life is ,the indicated number of Kms, or ONE YEAR, which ever occurs early.Originally posted by NIGHTMARE View PostOk will do that

Re: Karizma/Karizma R Ownership Experience
Drain the petrol and don't use it again in the bike...you may use it to clean metal parts like chain etc., and while using it, wear Latex gloves and mask to protect yourself...Originally posted by omkappoor999 View Postsir i am going out of my hometown
