That explains it.. They are unable to find the root cause and are not willing to find it as well.. I understand you have lost a lot of time. I would suggest you contact Hero! Drop them a mail and ask them to get an experienced mechanic to look into your bike.. apart from that, if you can spend a little more time, take your bike to a near by metro and get it checked.. I am pretty sure the issues with your bike will be resolved.. I, in-fact faced an issue where in the bike shuts off all of a sudden and comes back to life suddenly.. I reported this to the ASC where I got my first service done.. They started scaring me saying I have to change the Fuel Pump blah blah bull shit.. Then without having to make any change, they said they fixed it and handed the bike back to me.. Unfortunately, it happened again and I was robbed.. Happened back in 2010 Dec.. That is when I really got fed up and changed my ASC.. The guys in Noida did a better job than the guys in Delhi.. They stripped my bike and found out that the problem was with the Ignition coil wire being loosely fit..

I raised a complaint to Hero Honda back then and I got immediate response.. The CEO of the showroom where I got the bike from responded immediately and took severe action against his mechanics and screwed the Services Head in front of me..

Ever since then till now, I haven't had major issues with my bike.. in-fact, not even minor.. Completed 55000 kms today

P.S. Thanks for reading the Nepal Ride log.. I am going to read it all over again and bring back wonderful memories

            1. Changed carb in warranty in july 2014 after lot of fight with HMC.
            2. Cleaned fuel tank/ fuel filter lot of times.
            3. Changed air filter/spark plugs at every 5k intervals.
            4. Changed HT coil, spark plug cap, stator coil recently to rule out any ignition related issue.
            5. Even clutch plates and chain sprocket are changed at 25k kms.
            6. Set AFR to 3.5 turns.
            7. Cleaned throttle slide multiple times.
            8. Tried different fuel pumps to rule out adulterated fuel issue.
            9. Throttle cable changed at regular intervals.

Though I have toured alot on this machine and I never got stranded during tours but I was not a happy tourer due to this specific problem specially on mountain roads as mostly required pull is at 4k to 5k rpm. I have invested lot of time, money, energy to sort out this problem but nobody is able to identify the root cause. Now I have given up after 3 yeras.

people say that motorcycling scenario in India is changing when there are sofisticated performance bikes are launching frequently but whats the fun if after sales service of company and people at ASCs are good for nothing.

Its the result of divorce of Honda with Hero. Now I regret the day when I sold my trustworthy and trouble free touring companion Honda Unicorn and bought "Hero" ZMA.
            Did u try changing CDI
Read your previous posts too sorry!

Dont know you changed or not,
but i would like to say here that if you have not changed your spark plug wire, change it once, i was facing poor throttling response and jerking as well, i changed the wire and problem was solved.

                Thank you

Once I changed HT (Ignition) coil which contains plug wire and cap as set, and next day I had trip of 800 kms*on mountains for 3 days. All problem of missing jerking went away even on hills steep roads but after almost 2k km of changing HT coil, it came back again. Thatswhy recently I changed stator coil (generator) to rule out if main generator is faulty and causing HT coil to malfunction but this also didn't helped either. Even swapped CDI.

I'm guessing, you should change everything at once to avoid one component damaging other. But this is a tricky situation

He he...why not change the ride!!!
Though changed Carb ,HT and stator coil in warranty by pressurising HMC and ASC because I documented this issue on mail initially when just after first service in 2013.

Waiting for few more parts as suggested by experts and seniors here in the forum to give a last try. Also HMC service engineer given me appointment for first week of july. Lets see.

Now parts are difficult to find here.

                        Guys,
I want to replace tyres for my Kaizma. I wan to put a fat one on the pillion for better grip. Is it recommended to have a fatter tyre and what max size will go on Karizma? Are tubeless tyres good and which make is good? Any idea on the Price?
                        Appreciate help.

Mandar, yesterday I got Ceat Zoom 120/80-18 installed on my Karizma R.. The perfect match for your requirements... It's tubeless too... All that you will have to do is remove the chain cover..

Can anyone tell me how to check worn off disc pads of front disc without the removal of wheel.

By removing the brake calipers. If lazy, take a torchlight and see between the mudguard and forks. But, if pads have worn out >60%, the torch method may not be effective!
P.S - wheels are NEVER removed for doing anything w.r.t front brakes.

Thanks VIBS... How about Continental?? Are they better than Ceat Zoom?? How much was the cost for you?? Did you replaced both tyres? What's the size for the front, or it's the same as original?
