    Update To my previous query
On further checking i found that the engine sound is pretty much same
on the 1st gear and when i rev it hard in my bike when compared to other zma's.

So what after you rev it hard?? Does sound changes?

          3.Yes i had replaced piston,

How to remove carbon from exhaust?
I remember seeking Sibun's advice on this and google helped me getting that exact post in Xbhp. I couldn't find the right mechanic to do the job mentioned in the post though. So I left it as it is.

Same happened to my frnds karizma, and it was expensive to buy new one, so a electrician /mechanic uncle at my place put a auto rikshaw rectifier in karizma. Both rectifiers are having 5 pins but Its shape is different but works fine with karizma and battery is also charging well. We had to do jugad to mount it on bike. #Indian jugad #thug life [emoji41]
Thanks for the inputs guys. Actually, I was checking the output from Stator as well (3 yellow wires). One showed 3.7v, second one 4.2v and third one had 0v (all AC). Does this mean the stator is gone as well? I also did few tests on the rectifier ( Forward bias/reverse bias tests seen on Youtube) and looks like rectifier is also defective.

As of now, I have removed both these parts from the bike and want to place order for new parts. Please suggest what you think about this situation.

First check if you can get other karizma rectifier to test if your one is faulty. And if it is then only buy new one. Also check for wires if any carbon on them or at relat points. Happened same to my suzuki fiero, 1st i thought battery died, then i thought alternator problem, then changed relays, finally came to know it was carbon and saved lit of money.

unfortunately, all my friends have sold their Karizma's and bought new bikes, so there's no one available for me to swap parts and test. Do you know what should be the stator output at each phase/wire?

                • Mysterious engine off

My Karizma ZMR modified to R, cuts off all throttle response while I go over a speedbreaker. It doesn't happen always though and I am unable to identify a pattern. Can it happen because of any wiring getting jammed during the jerk? Or is it something mechanical?

When it happens, I restart my engine and everything works fine after that in a matter of seconds. However I am afraid if it is only a symptom that might aggravate with time. Let me know your thoughts.

My 2014 zma does that. You can increase the idle rpm upto 1450 and try. Nice username brother.

How would a P200NS piston perform in a ZMA?

After running 3-4 kms,the rpm needle wobbles at 1.2 on idiling and eventually engine shuts off.
Is this normal for a carburreted bike?

During 3-4km running engine doesnot reach its optimum temperature, maybe thats why it shuts off. Please check if it does the same after a long run say 20kms atleast.btw i am not an expert.

engine shuts not immediately but after 10-15 seconds, and then nothing ,i just have to start bike again.

                                Hello fellow xbhpian's

I am planning to change the whole disc brake assembly of my zma, I currently have some local calipers on it(not the orignal HH one). Has anyone ever tried changing the whole assembly for improved performance?
