I have rarely seen a lady with both legs on any kind of rest. Most of them have one foot dangling even when they are doing 40. As for the seating on the tank: i guess these people are used to trippling on the bikes hence they always leave enough for their passengers. Ever noticed a triple ride with 2 ladies sitting side to side and the driver virtually on top of the fuel cap ?

It happen when the engine is running .
Which means the RR out put is marginally high...more than 14+ Volts.
ok i will check but i am new here can you pls tell me what does RR unit refer's to or its full form.
RR refers to RECTIFIER REGULATOR.ZMA has a three phase A C voltage generation system which is rectified to DC and regulated to suit the bike's electrical system.
Rest the bike is stock but the horn i m using is from outside market not the origal because the stock was not working properly maybe that's drawing more current.
And after i have charged the battery (2 days before) i have not faced the problem maybe i think this could also be a reason.
If your old battery was going open circuit under charging condition, then the problem may occur...Still I feel the RR unit output is marginally high...Use a Multi Meter and check the battery voltage when engine RPM is 3 K.

Do not go for WHITE light because it has poor visibility in rain and fog conditions...when you actually need the lights..
A HID will give more light output than a Halogen...and the heat is less.
Look for 4,300 K light temperature or less, which will give good visibility.
Go for a good make ..preferably Philips original..It may be costly, but you will have peace of mind.

There's a girl staying near my house, she rides an Activa/Aviator with her feet on the side pegs. And hell, she's a racer all right. During one of our g2g's everyone saw her, she was riding so fast that all of us bikers stood back when she came near us. And the funny thing was there was a P220 and at first due to all the vibes and noise we thought the P220 was faster, but when the girl overtook the P220 we were all dumbfounded.

And most people sit like that cause, monkey see monkey do.
Here in our place the fastest indians are the fishmongers who ride @ 100+. But to accommodate their luggage they've added a rear cage and thus cant sit properly and they sit exactly how its mentioned in one of the above posts. So by seeing this all the stupid youngsters try to imitate it and think the bike moves faster that way.

The timing chain noise will be more like chil chil as Ashwinprakas used to describe.
Both inlet and outlet tappet clearance in Karizma is the same at 0.1.If it is set properly with feeler gauge then not likely to come back at least for 8K Kms of sane riding and 4 K Kms of aggressive riding,in a set engine with at least 12 k on odo...
Since your bike is comparatively new the setting may require attention till you complete 10 K Kms , since the parts are coming to-gether and settling down on constant use.
If after Correctly setting the tappet at 0.1 you still get the sound, then the Cam is suspect, which can be confirmed when you open the top cover...you should look for slight groove formation on the Cam Lobe.
Wow...!!! Thats the ifo I was looking for. Thank you PSR Bro.
                Move on.........

Mate its not like that. HID's work on colour temp. You can google out to find the different colour temp. 4300K is the best for our Indian roads. Philips OE HID comes in a pair & costs Rs. 6700/- from official dealer. The 1000rs one will be a chinese one.

Also , it'll hamper the visibility of oncoming vehicle's drivers/riders.

White's the color you normally see - 2 reasons for that .First , we wont notice it if it is normal color or may even mistake it for a high powered halogen ( if it's not projector type) . Second - ones who fit it want to get noticed and hence fit bluish white colored HID .

                        • Might be a strange question, but has anyone here tried to convert their ZMA to GP Shift pattern???? If yes, how???
