Flooded Lead Acid exide OEM battery (open circuit voltages) :
Fully discharged (flat) ~ 11.5-11.7 volts , Fully charged (and stabilised for an hour by removing from charging) ~ 12.6-12.8 volts
Charging voltage on my bike's battery terminals when running half throttle with a brand-new RR unit with battery already connected ~ 14.65 volts .
I trickle-charge such batteries at 13.3 volts at around 30C for days sometimes . No problem .
These are at room temperatures around 28C here , shall vary with temp .
SMF ( AGM-VLRA ) voltages may be different .
Also I do not believe that the bike RR unit would continue to provide full charging voltages to a fully charged battery . Nor sure either ... why else would they use an RR(regulator rectifier) then ?

BTW , what is the price of this reflector everyone is burning away ?

I have searched a lot and did not get any branded HID with projectors, all are cheap chinese made and no guarantee on the performance .
Have a look at these...
motorcycle hid projector KT-MT3
and about LS2 helmet .. he told me that LS2 diamond with speed graphics ... white color ... it will cost me Rs 2800 !!!
I guess it is correct, you can probably bargain a bit and buy it for 2500 bucks.
are these quotes correct .. can i go for it ???

same here ... even he also told me about the Kt-MT3 ... i think have to search in town for stores ... ( south mumbai ) ... have to google ...

coz i love the setup !!!

Alas! my friend, AFAIK there are no branded HID kits which come with projectors. Here is what you can do is, pick up a branded HID kit which would cost approx Rs.7K a pair (Philips 4300k). Go to Kurla bazar & pick up Skoda projector for approx Rs.400-500/- per piece.

You can try your luck at the car accessory shops in Opera House,South Mumbai for the HID's with projectors.

BTW you said you stay at Kanjurmarg. I work at SEEPZ so I can come down & we can meet. Do PM your details.

Ditto! Am using skoda projectors picked up from kurla

. Using them in my car. Its brilliant. I don't think aftermarket projectors will come anywhere close to it in performance. Though it doesn't look anywhere as sexy as those after market stuffs.

NO,Only if valve stem is bent or valves are damaged

i no that ... i have been to sun shine shop , the helmet shop ... in thane ( dont know the area name ... but there are 3 petrol pumps )

tht guy told me tht it ll cost u around 3 K without installation ... and i just asked him for quotation.

well am going to tht shop only for my helmet !

Poor acceleration...Hmmm... Takes some time after 80 to reach 100.

Poor performance... Hmmm... Bike now tops at 110~115 max.

So does that qualify for valve probs???

May be ...but can't say without checking for leaks or bend.

Leaks...Hmmmm... I've got a minor oil leak from the top of the head.
