The focus of my headlight is a little higher than it should be. The mechanic said I will have to change the whole headlight cluster since they have tried all ways to adjust it but could not. Does the focus of light depend upon the fibre cluster holding the bulb? If it does can anyone help me with the price of the same?

I will try and attach the pics of the light focus asap.

    Somebody clarify this please

Yeah . .sort of like using one model's battery for another compatible model!! And BTW , Honda does have a Chinese sub !

Vineeth n I met the day before . He was in town for some engine related work and after his work was done we met for a cold drink and talked for some time . The pic of his ( 240cc monster ) and my ( 223 cc N.A.) with him standing beside them is attached . The H/L job looks neatly done - it was done by Vineeth himself . The projector is the low beam and the high beams are HID reflectors .

      • Regarding the noise from engine when hot, every ZMA including mine is there.I have understood the reason so no worries for me.Perception of the sound differs with each person, and so what might be acceptable sound may be loud for some one else..
@Vishakh , yes I do remember joking about the FE..just that i had been interfacing with so many queries and my old brain is not able to relate to too many of them....

Thanks, in my brother's Kizma the headlight's high beam doesnt hav a distant throw so I'll try adjusting this screw.

Yes, I know basic electricals, got an "A" grade in my last sem but scared lil bit 'cause I love my bike so wanted some pro to do it and I'll watch...last time during horn installation a mech connected a cut-out instead of a relay due to which Im still suffering, I didn't know either when here came to know that relay has 5 terminals. However it would be nice if you provide me the circuit diagram for future experiments

And the bulb it depends on your budget. I am very much satisfied with the Philips Premium which just costs around Rs80. Just get it from a reliable car spares shop. I would suggest you try the premium before going for the high end bulbs..

Okay thanks a ton, just a query.. Do I need to buy two relays now? One for the Bosch twin horns and 1 for the 55/60 w headlamp?

Thanks, and this reminded me of my choke lever which gets stuck and not getting pulled more than 10%, how to get it work fine?

No doubt with Honda's quality but what I meant was it would be best if we replace with what is meant for that particular bike only...thats only my opinion that too in the braking segment. Hope you got me now.

Just use WD40(Not sure about its effect on plastic.) or any other lubes. And also check the choke cables and all, and make sure there's no rusting or dirt accumulation withing the cable guides.

Today i checked the manual and on every service valve clearance should be inspected and adjusted . The thing is that they didnt even touch it . So have to get it adjusted. Feels happy to know that its not a damage and needs to be adjusted at every service .

Yeah bro, nothings a damage until you literally break it.
And its a bike after all, and bike are supposed to be rode. So every niggles that's brought about by riding cannot be considered as damage, cause its just period wear and tear. For some it happens sooner than the rest, and viceversa.

Anyways, please mention the page number, cause I've got it scheduled for tomorow and could use the above mentioned thingi as an arguable clause too.

                @PSR Sir,
There's not only noise, the performance has also decreased(may be my dilusion). Cause earlier the bike used to touch 120~125kmph but now only goes upto 110~115kmph. Yeah I know some people will argue ZMA going upto 140kmph and all, but also consider the fact that am not a regular rider i.e with me weighing 108kg's.

After his recent spill he hasn't fitted the FFE . Seems the db killer is on the way . Even with stock exhaust the roar is a treat . BTW , can we remove the cat-con from stock exhaust ? What will the performance be like if we do so ?
I just noticed the rvm was different . Didn't ask him why .

Due to some issue cannot insert images. Please adjust with the picasa lnk.

The catcon removal is not a big task but few things you should take care of like,
                          >The emission test after the catcon is removed.
                          > Fitting back of the exhaust cause the bolt near the brake pedal would not fit if the after weld is no accurate and that will cause a hell lot of vibrations.
                          >I really dont know the after effect performance wise, but very slight or negligible difference.

My relay came with the circuit diagram pasted on the back of it. Made my job a whole lot easier.

It's not too complicated. Pretty simple only. But be prepared to spend a few hours if you are doing this for the first time.

For the headlights, yes you need one. I cannot comment on the horn relay because I have not used one.

Guys since this relay can support two headlight, is it possible to connect one headlight and one horn to the same relay?
