I've been there, and done that, AGAIN.

The above is the closest one.
Now coming to the point, do the following. Without any throttle at all load the engine, and see if the sounds going away or not. I assume the engine wont die till 900RPM's, no need to keep it there for long, just a couple of seconds to monitor the issue is enough.

If you say its going away, then I say its either the conrod bearing's wearing out or the pilots running too rich.

If you say its not going away then, I say the pilots running too lean. (But personally I dont think its this, cause I've closed my AFR when the engine was hot and running, and the knocks were uniform.)

I think its better you go abit leaner. The base shows that you're running too rich.

Really? . I am getting 40 above economy and does running rich cause any problems?

Yeah everything has its advantages and disadvantages, running rich will cause,
                  1. More carbon deposits.
                  2. Knocking at higher RPM's.
                  3. Bore wash.
                  4. Brick wall at top end.

But I don't think you're going to face any of the above, but still it's best to keep it at optimum. What's the AFR setting you're currently running on???

                      • @Vishakh:- Now I understand why you get competitive mileage with that of Splendor. I would say you are running bit lean.

Confusion confusion! . Adding to that in my stock plug the white part near the electrode was showing light brown color and since i changed to g power due to the combustion improvement it is now white, If you take a closer look it will show a very light tint of brown thats all.

Tuning is intact and has never been fiddled with me or SVC guys. Its you who gave me the urge to check my plug. Ever since i saw your plug dent by the SVC I felt like checking mine too just to make sure its not messed by my SVC guys.

Your plug looks acceptable from it's color indication....I am foxed by the black color deposit on the ground electrode...you may be having a light oil leak through stem seals or you are riding the bike for short distance at low RPMs...Spark plugs are no longer read like old times....ever since Lead had been removed from Petrol as an additive..

Please see the plug reading below. It shows bit of chocolate brown on the much while porcelain. You can also see how the plug top is bent down by our beloved HH Service. Later undid some to have gap. CAUTION:- Kindly check the bike's plug once taken out from service just make sure it is not tampered like mine.
Your plug gap is less than 0.5mm and is not good . It should be 0.9mm as per stock and plug manufacturer's spec....

Ok. I'll change to normal plug for now and change to GPower shortly.
