Aren't you overloading the electricals while doing so? I would assume that it might drain your battery than it can recharge if I'm not wrong. Anyone, please comment on this.

Not at all! Used to use it only on the highways. Am running on 55/60W lamp with a relay.

The aux. lamp has a 100w Philips rally bulb which again I use only on high speed runs..

while doing so won't the reflector burn off? especially in 2011 models?

Mines a 2005 ZMA. Was using a Philips Rally 90/100W with relay for a few months without any reflector burn issues..

Be it high beam or low beam or both, the reflector will burn anyways if you're using a 55/60.

Sometimes the most simplest(silliest) remedy can solve all your issues.
OT- I copied it from a friend/Xbhpian who owns a Fazer, he does that so that both lights stay on at the same time.

I've heard both Fazer and R15 doing the mod job for headlight, however, ask them if that was for 55/60w?

                          • HID for ZMA-R

                            Hi All,

I am looking to fix HID on my ZMA-R. I already have amaron 9AH battery installed. Does anyone know reliable mechanics who can do the job in Bangalore?

                            Thanks,

                            Krishna

                            • Did my 6th service today. And its the same day which i took delivery of my bike last year. .

Oil change ( Or else warranty void ).

My ride is 8.5k km on odo . Happy that i dont have to take it to SVC again. One year went that fast can't believe it.

Well saw a karizma r with ZMR front mudguard. It looked very neat and cool to me and it matches the ZMA better. So if your mudguard needs replacement choose ZMR's mudguard, its a straigh fit too. The bike will look a bit wider ( atleast visually ).
