The brake oil is low because the brake pads have worn..confirmed by your saying the brake lacks bite..change disc pads, your oil level will become near full and your brake will be good.Originally posted by imjoshee View Post

Bike has serious damages. We was standing in back of an Indica car suddenly a Logan car came and hit our bike from rear.

Ya & they can get money from that logan owner tooOriginally posted by ashwinprakas View PostLol
, They'r more than happy(thanks to god they both got out without even a scratch), infact they were just looking for a chance to rebuild their bike and TADA!!! a genuine reason.
If the logan owner managing then why not ?Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostTank has a small dent, can i get the tank replaced?

Thanks for the response. It just 10,250kms on the odo. Do the pads worn out so fast? Also when I change the pads, I suppose we need to bleed it. The SVC guys will do needful I think.Originally posted by psr View PostThe brake oil is low because the brake pads have worn..confirmed by your saying the brake lacks bite..change disc pads, your oil level will become near full and your brake will be good.

Depends upon your brake usage and the conditions you ride in,I changed brake pads at about 7000km.No need of bleeding or replacing brake fluid, your brake fluid level is down because the piston in the caliper is extended to compensate the pad wear, new pads and level will be back again.Originally posted by imjoshee View PostThanks for the response. P.S: In your earlier posts you have said that your bikes cam shaft was replaced, did you find lack in performance before this happened.

Cool. Thanks for the response. Do you have any clue on the price of the OEM pads?Originally posted by curse View PostDepends upon your brake usage and the conditions you ride in,I changed brake pads at about 7000km.No need of bleeding or replacing brake fluid, your brake fluid level is down because the piston in the caliper is extended to compensate the pad wear, new pads and level will be back again.

Nope. There was no lack in performance, but there was tappet noise & even adjusting it, did not solve the problem & hence the cam was changed.

If you're thinking about 2nd or 3rd then better take the one from your bike to check with the one you're buying .
Those I think are company prices .
A 'compatible ' one for ZMA R was fitted on my bike for 200/- . The moment I got out of the service center , I felt as if I was using a drum brake , and a worn out one . Went straight to ASS and bought a CBZ Old model brake pad ( funny thing is they asked me the number of the bike - I said it's a friend's bike and I don't remember ) and returned to the Service center and asked them to change it .sigpic

I think OE pads price had been reduced now to approx.,1,500/-,RTR pads are straight fit and is 350/-..Ninja 250R also suitable, but different pad material, and has better friction.Originally posted by curse View PostOEM pads cost around 2200.RTRs pads cost around 350 and are straight fit. When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

I just read a post in a Palio forum - the cost of Palio pads is below 1000/- ! And Palio is a car which the current Fiat regime in India doesn't support - no service at ASS , no spares available at ASS etc . Most of the spares are imported from countries like Brazil , Taiwan etc . Hero really is hell bent on squeezing the owners of Karizma.Originally posted by psr View PostI think OE pads price had been reduced now to approx.,1,500/-,RTR pads are straight fit and is 350/-..Ninja 250R also suitable, but different pad material, and has better friction.
