When my bikes hot and Im riding in high gear and i let go of my accelerator the bike de accelerates as usual, but when I re accelerate then theres a minor lag in acceleration(say for a few millisecs). I rechecked my cable slack and its ok. Im suspecting something else.
This only happens when the bikes hot.
Additional.
Today evening added 15ml of 2T oil to the petrol tank as per psr sir's advice opt'd for Castrol 2T(Green). So will check tomorow if theres any change.
And when I went to the castrol point I noticed that the packing of different bottles of the same make(Power 1 4T) have different seals but the same bottle. Some have the hologram seal where as some have the cheap clear seal. So does that mean fake???
Are you looking for Castrol Power 1 4T (15W40)? or Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T (10W40)?______________________________________

And about the Castrol just checked the bottles due to curiosity and am talking about the one in green bottle, the racing one I think. It costs above 300rs.Motorcycling Experience:

Ok!! Yesterday saw a naked errr maybe had a crash, bike was without fairing and without meter console was painted in green, blue white similar to unicorn colours and it looked stunning.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostYes,Vineeth bro is using about 150w HID in his Amaron 9Ah battery.
So thinking of removing bikes fairing and putting two hids, only thing that looks ugly after removing fairing is the console so maybe fixing some other bikes visor after some mods may help in clean and sporty look.

Guess it'd be better if PSR sir himself explained, cause its abit complex for me.Originally posted by aarunn View PostThanks for the Valuable input sir

All i know is that it lubricats the carburetor.Motorcycling Experience:

I think 150 W might be overkill for 9Ah .Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostYes,Vineeth bro is using about 150w HID in his Amaron 9Ah battery.
. I don't think vineeth has 150 W HID .
The ZMA/ZMAR/ZMR gets it's character (well , some of itOriginally posted by curse View PostOk!! Yesterday saw a naked errr maybe had a crash, bike was without fairing and without meter console was painted in green, blue white similar to unicorn colours and it looked stunning.

) from the fairing . But , to each his own
. Actually, you'd be reducing it's weight while taking a hit at it's character . That'd mean more mileage in normal riding . Even removing the engine cowl will reduce it's weight , add stability in crorr winds and help cool the engine more effectively . But most don't do it since it does look good on a Kari . Anyway , keep us updated whatever it is you do .
BTW , Just today I remembered that the spare batery I have is of my Pulsar 180 and that it is supposed to be 9Ah . Now I'm gonna put it in my ZMA R . But not sure whether the P180 will work on my ZMA R's 7 Ah . If it doesn't , then it'll be a problem since I want to sell it ( P 180 ) this month .sigpic

Belly cowl weighs way below a kg. And the bike looks way cooler without the belly cowl.Motorcycling Experience:

A single 150w HID? That sounds unreal, unless guy is using multiple lights. Most commonly wattage available on the market are 35w, 50w and 55w. I am using two 35w in my car through projector lamps. So thats a total of 70w. Is much brighter than 100+100w halogen I was using earlier. Don't know why anyone would need that much wattage if available at all.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostYes,Vineeth bro is using about 150w HID in his Amaron 9Ah battery.

He saidOriginally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View Post
"2x 55w hid
with regular ballast on high beam and 0ne 40w single hid with slim ballast on low beam."
Max of 110W on high and 40 W on low .
Even on high (which is 55+55W) , he wont get the full benefit from the HID ( may be he gets it at high RPM )'cause at that time he was on just 12V 9Ah battery . It's only recently that he plonked in a 7 Ah battery to supplement the 9 Ah one . Anyhow , the 55+55W would be more than anyone would need . . even a 35+35 would more than enough . Anyway I don't want to win any argument and I hope nobody takes this as one
. Just pointing out the obvious - From a 12V 7Ah battery you can take a max of 80+W if the condition of the battery is that good . That includes the transmission loss ( if any ) and the current required to run the bike . The alternator supplies more than double that wattage and any excess current drawn might come from it directly , through the RR . So theoretically it might work Ok . Does any one know the rated capacity of the RR ? There are so many variables in the scenario that I'm not thorough with , so I refuse to be drawn into a debate !!!
I'm willing to be corrected here .sigpic
